Abstract

A housing for a cooking apparatus (100) includes, for example, a hood (302), abezel (310), and an insert member (330). The bezel (310) is configured to have an insert member receiving area, and is attached to the hood (302). The insert member (330) is attached to the housing for the cooking apparatus adjacent the insert member receiving area. A method of using a housing for a cooking apparatus includes, for example, swinging a hood to an open position, swinging a top surface of a first side shelf to a position outside of a pan, and rotating a surface of a utility tray from a first orientation to a substantiality horizontal orientation for use. A method of using a cooking apparatus includes, for example, selecting an insert member (330) from a plurality of insert members, and attaching the selected insert member to a bezel (310) of the cooking apparatus (100) adjacent an insert member receiving area of the bezel.
