Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Erzeugung von Wasserstoff aus einem biogenen Stoff, insbesondere Abfall, vorgeschlagen. Sporenbildende Bakterien bauen den biogenen Stoff anaerob und im Dunklen ab, wobei Wasserstoff erzeugt wird. Eine sehr effektive Wasserstoffabscheidung bzw. -erzeugung kann dadurch erreicht werden, daβ die Bakterien zumindest kurzzeitig derart erhitzt werden, daβ methanbildende Bakterien abgetotet werden. Alternativ oder zusatzlich werden die Bakterien mit Sauerstoff oder Luft gespült, um die Erzeugung des Wasserstoffs zu stimulieren und/oder methanbildende Bakterien zu unterdrücken.
