Abstract

L'invention concerne des compositions et procédés pour produire des produits de papier coloré et des agents pour préparer de tels produits. Les pigments modifiés en surface peuvent être fabriqués pour apporter une coloration sélectionnée à un produit de papier. Le pigment peut comprendre des particules de charges qui sont liées à un ou plusieurs composants de colorants avec un agent de couplage, tel qu'un agent de couplage silane ou un polymère tel qu'un polycation. Le pigment peut également être formulé pour produire un produit de papier avec une meilleure rétention de particules et/ou de fines, et/ou une résistance plus élevée en incluant des composants qui peuvent interagir de manière favorable avec les fibres d'un matériau de papier. Les pigments modifiés en surface peuvent également être utilisés pour préparer des formulations de coloration telles que des encres pour imprimantes et autres applications.
