Abstract

Selon la présente invention, la matière contenant du carbone est d'abord soumise à une conversion thermique pour donner un mélange de gaz de synthèse comprenant du monoxyde de carbone et de l'hydrogène (gaz de synthèse), la conversion thermique est chauffée au moyen d'un échangeur thermique, l'échangeur puisant en outre l'énergie thermique de la chaleur des déchets générée par le groupe motopropulseur d'un navire. Une énergie thermique supplémentaire peut être ajoutée à l'échangeur au moyen d'une source de chaleur secondaire. Le mélange de gaz de synthèse est ensuite soumis à une conversion chimique en un produit d'hydrocarbure ayant un nombre de carbones dans la plage variant entre C1 à C60. Le produit est isolé, recueilli et stocké à bord pour une livraison et une distribution ultérieures à au moins un site éloigné.
