Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de démarrage pour moteur à combustion, notamment de véhicule automobile, comportant : un rotor ou induit comportant au moins un bobinage, un ensemble lanceur (19) pouvant être entraîné en rotation autour d'un axe par le rotor et déplacé parallèlement à cet axe entre une première position dans laquelle le dispositif de démarrage peut entraîner le moteur à combustion et une deuxième position dans laquelle le dispositif de démarrage est désengagé du moteur à combustion, l'ensemble lanceur portant au moins un élément de jonction électrique agencé pour modifier l'état électrique du bobinage du rotor, au moins lorsque l'ensemble lanceur est dans la deuxième position, en vue de générer un freinage électromagnétique du rotor, notamment par auto-induction.
