Abstract
The invention relates to a device (10) for assembling cladding panels, in particular panels in the form of extruded profiles, that comprises a sub-structure (11) that can be mounted on an existing structure using mounting members (12) and assembling parts (13) for securing the cladding panels (14). The sub-structure (11) comprises an extruded longitudinal profile (20) having a bearing surface (20a) provided with horizontal slots (20d) for receiving and holding by simple engagement the assembling parts (13). To this end, each assembling part (13) is made in the form of an L-shaped bracket having a first side (13a) used as a bearing at the bottom (15a) of a profiled sector (15) with a square opened cross-section provided at the rear of the upper edge (16) of a panel (14), and having a second side (13a) engaging into a slot (20d) for locking the assembling part (13) in position relative to the extruded longitudinal profile.
