Abstract

The invention relates to a device specially designed to provide a connection between pipes and accessories and, more specifically, for use as a coupling device when mounting a valve on a pipe intended for the passage of fluids. The invention provides a structurally-simple, easy-to-mount sealed coupling which, depending on the device to be coupled, may or may not include a gasket. For this purpose, the device consists of a tubular part (1) provided with an annular channel (2) at one of the ends thereof, which defines an outer flange (4) and a longer inner flange or skirt (3). The corresponding end of the pipe (6) to which the body of the accessory is to be fixed is slid into the channel (2) and coupled therein using the corresponding nut (8) which is screwed to the outer part of the body of the accessory positioned on an outer conical segment of the channeled part, the opposing part of same being provided externally with another outer flange or segment with which the corresponding locknut engages. The inner skirt (3) of the end connection part forms a reinforcing and moulding core which prevents the deformation of the pipe under the pressure of the nut (8).
