Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un projectile (1) sous calibré comportant un sabot (2) au calibre formé d'au moins trois segments (2a, 2b, 2c) en contact deux à deux au niveau de plans de joints (10a, 10b, 10c) et entourant un barreau (3) sous- calibré présentant un axe longitudinal (8). Ce projectile est caractérisé en ce que les segments (10a, 10b, 10c) sont réalisés de telle sorte que les intersections géométriques (11, 12, 13) de leurs différents plans de joints (10a, 10b, 10c) se situent à distance de l'axe longitudinal (8) du barreau, chaque segment ayant alors une géométrie asymétrique. Application au domaine de l'armement.
