Description
The method of preparation and combustion of coal-water suspension

(US 4377391,)A known method of preparing a coal-water suspension (UVS) for combustion, including grinding coal less than 200 microns (US 4377391,)
The disadvantage of this method is the high energy consumption.
(RU 2178454).A known method of producing a coal-water suspension, including grinding coal, water and plasticizer (RU 2178454).
The disadvantage of this method is not high enough energy potential of the fuel ..
The objective of the present invention is to obtain a hydrocarbon having high energy potential, environmental cleanliness, low cost and a wide scope.
The problem is solved due to the fact that the method of preparing and burning a coal-water suspension includes grinding coal, feeding water and a plasticizer, igniting and burning, according to the invention, the coal-water suspension consists of (55-75)% of coal, crushed to a fraction (0 -2000) microns, (42-20)% water and (1-5)% plasticizer. As a plasticizer, brown coal, coal tar, sludge and other coal processing waste are used. Ignition of a coal-water suspension is carried out using a plasma torch, natural gas or liquid fuel. Fuel oil is black oil.
SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) In the process of preparing a coal-water suspension, mechanochemical activation lies, during which the structure of coal is destroyed as a natural “rock” mass. Coal, as it were, decomposes into separate organic and mineral components, but already with the active surface of the particles of the solid phase. The source water also undergoes a series of transformations, as a result of which a chemically active dispersed medium is formed, saturated with components of the ionic and cationic species.
In the production process, fuel can be demineralized to reduce ash content to (0.5-1.5)% and used instead of fuel oil and natural gas as motor fuel in gas turbine and diesel engines, in boilers that are not equipped with ash removal systems.
Температура воспламенения составляет 450-6500C, а температура горения составляет - 950-11500C.The method is implemented in a furnace device, which consists of a feeder pump, into the outlet pipe of which compressed air is supplied. The pump feeds the HCS to the surface of the nozzle chamber, where it is burned in a fluidized bed. Ignition of the UVS is possible using a plasma torch, natural gas and liquid fuel. The ignition temperature is 450-650 0 C, and the combustion temperature is - 950-1150 0 C.
The most important feature of a UVS is the possibility of producing it with the properties set by the consumer for specific, including operating units (boilers, furnaces, etc.). It can be used both energy and process fuels, for example, in metallurgy. Patterns of combustion of hydrocarbons are significantly different from traditional fuels. Dispersed water, acting as an intermediate oxidizing agent, activates the surface of solid particles in almost all the main stages of its combustion. Therefore, the ignition of atomized droplets does not begin with the ignition of volatile

300-3250C.SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) vapor, and with a heterogeneous reaction on their surface, including water and water vapor. Activation of the surface particles of droplets leads to a decrease in the ignition temperature of the UVS compared to ignition of coal dust: for fuels from anthracite - twice, for fuels of grades G and D - 1.5-1.8 times, and for fuels from brown coals reduced to 300-325 0 C.
The ignition of the UVS begins immediately after spraying, i.e. before the evaporation of a significant fraction of the mass of the dispersed medium. The combustion process of a UVS is characterized by a high completeness of fuel burnout (98-99.7)%, a small excess of air (3-7)%. Due to the peculiarities of the combustion process occurring in a semi-reducing medium at relatively high concentrations of water vapor, the fuel burns without emissions of carbon monoxide products, secondary carbons, soot and carcinogens. The formation of particulate emissions of micron fractions (up to 80-95%), sulfur (up to 70-85%) and nitrogen oxides (up to 80-90%) is sharply reduced. A significant reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions during combustion of hydrocarbons is due to a lower temperature in the combustion zone, not exceeding 1000-1050 0 C. The use of low sulfur coal
Кроме того, использование УВС позволяет с большей эффективностью улавливать оксиды серы.(sulfur content of not more than 0.5%) for the preparation of an HCS provides a reduction in the formation of sulfur dioxide flue gases. In addition, the use of HCS makes it possible to capture sulfur oxides with greater efficiency.
The proposed coal-water suspension has all the technological properties of liquid fuel: it is transported in car and railway tanks, through pipelines, in tankers and tankers, stored in closed tanks, retains its properties during long-term storage and transportation, explosion and fire safety.
SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) The cost of hydrocarbon fuel, ready for direct use, per tonne of standard fuel, is 2-4 times lower than the cost of fuel oil and does not exceed 30% of the price of the source coal at the place of its extraction.
Thus, the proposed method for preparing and burning a coal-water suspension significantly reduces operating costs and increases the efficiency of using coal as an energy source.
