Abstract

Es wird ein Reise-Essbesteck beschrieben, das aus einem Esswerkzeug, z. B. einem Schöpfteil (1), mit einem sich daran anschließenden Kurzstiel (2) und einem Griff (3) besteht. Der Griff (3) besteht aus zwei Schalen (4, 5), die an ihrem distalen Ende durch ein Scharnier (6) miteinander verbunden sind. In der Nutzungsform als Besteck liegt der Kurzstiel (2) in einem von den zusammengeklappten Schalen (4, 5) gebildeten Kanal, der von Rinnen (7, 8) am proximalen Ende der Schalen (4, 5) geformt wird, wobei das Esswerkzeug nach außen weist. Die Schalen (4, 5) sind aber auch so ausgebildet, dass sie eine Schatulle für das Esswerkzeug bilden, so dass das Esswerkzeug zwischen die Schalen (4, 5) gelegt werden kann, um es vor Verschmutzung zu bewahren.
