Definitions
- the present invention relates to a pulse wave measurement device that measures periodic fluctuations in internal pressure of an artery, and more specifically, by pressing a pulse wave detection unit against the wrist surface, the artery located under the wrist
- the present invention relates to a pressure-type pulse wave measuring device that measures a pulse wave.
- Measuring the pulse wave of a subject is very important for knowing the health status of the subject. In recent years, it has been frequently performed to measure changes in cardiac load and arterial stiffness by measuring a subject's pulse wave.
- a pressure-type pulse wave measurement device measures the internal pressure fluctuation of the radial artery located in a relatively shallow area under the wrist by non-invasively measuring the pulse wave detection unit including a sensor against the wrist surface. is there.
- the pulse wave detection unit In order to accurately measure a pulse wave, the pulse wave detection unit needs to be pressed to an appropriate position on the wrist. For this reason, in a press-type pulse wave measuring device, a positioning mechanism is often provided so that the pulse wave detector is pressed to an appropriate position on the wrist.

- Patent Document 1 Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2005-87483
- Patent Document 1 JP 2005-87483 A
- the mark as disclosed in Patent Document 1 directly indicates a position where a measured portion of the wrist itself or a characteristic portion in the vicinity of the wrist (for example, a striated front face of the wrist joint) should be placed. It is intended to position the part to be measured or the characteristic part near the wrist at the position indirectly indicated by the mark (for example, a specific position on the extension line of the mark). Therefore, positioning is not always easy depending on the viewing position of the subject. In addition, the positioning work, which is difficult to say in terms of visibility, is not greatly facilitated.
- the force applied to the top surface of the wrist holding portion of the holding base is positioned using the mark.
- the striated pattern on the front surface of the wrist joint is arranged above the top surface of the holding base in the height direction by the thickness of the wrist. For this reason, unless alignment is performed while looking at the mark and the front joint striation from above, the difference in height between the mark and the front joint striation (that is, the difference in thickness of the wrist) There is a risk that the resulting positional deviation will occur. It is also expected that the subject will be aware of the presence of the landmark itself and place the wrist on the holding base and perform pulse wave measurement without positioning the wrist. In such a case, the pulse wave detection unit and the measurement site are displaced, resulting in a significant decrease in measurement accuracy of pulse wave measurement.
- the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and enables highly accurate pulse wave measurement by easily positioning the measured portion and the pulse wave detecting portion.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a pulse wave measuring apparatus.
- the pulse wave measurement device includes a pulse wave detection unit that detects a pulse wave by being pressed against a measurement site of a wrist, and the pulse wave detection described above by irradiating light on the wrist. And an optical pointer generating unit that generates an optical pointer on the surface of the wrist as a mark for positioning and pressing the unit on the measurement site.
- the measurement site itself or the characteristic site near the wrist is placed at the position pointed to by the optical pointer, so that the measurement site and the pulse wave detection unit can be positioned naturally. It becomes like this. Therefore, the wrist can be positioned using the optical pointer generated on the wrist surface as a mark, and the wrist positioning work is greatly facilitated.
- the optical pointer since the optical pointer has excellent visibility, it is possible to prevent the subject from performing pulse wave measurement without positioning the wrist. Therefore, a pulse wave measuring device capable of measuring a pulse wave with high accuracy can be provided.
- the optical pointer generator and Therefore, a semiconductor laser (so-called laser diode) can be suitably used, and the optical pointer generated in this case is a laser pointer with excellent visibility.
- the pulse wave measurement device is capable of holding the posture of the wrist by placing the wrist, and the wrist on the holding table. And a pivot arm rotatably attached to the holding base so that the wrist can be sandwiched between the holding base and the wrist. In that case, it is preferable that the pulse wave detection unit and the optical pointer generation unit are provided on the rotating arm!
- the optical pointer can be reliably generated on the surface of the wrist placed on the holding table by the optical pointer generator provided on the rotating arm.
- the holding table has a portion corresponding to the palm side of the wrist in a state where the wrist is placed on the holding table and faces the wrist.
- a wrist holder that includes a hollow groove that can hold the wrist in an inclined position so that the radius side end is positioned above the ulna side end of the wrist! Power S preferred.
- the measurement site of the wrist in which the pulsation of the rib vein appears remarkably can be in a horizontal state. It is possible to maintain parallelism between the pressing surface of the protruding portion and the site to be measured, and the wrist is sandwiched between the rotating arm and the holding base regardless of the size of the wrist of the subject. Therefore, the force S can be set so that the position at which the pulse wave detector is disposed substantially matches the measured site. Therefore, it is possible to provide a pulse wave measuring device that can be easily mounted and can accurately measure a pulse wave.
- the pulse wave measurement device maintains the wrist posture by placing the wrist and the detection unit provided with the pulse wave detection unit. And a holding band for connecting the detection unit and the holding table and fixing the detection unit to the wrist by being wound around the wrist. .
- the optical pointer generation unit is provided in the detection unit. With this configuration, the optical pointer generation unit provided in the detection unit can reliably generate an optical pointer on the surface of the wrist placed on the holding table.
- the optical pointer is for positioning to the measurement site.
- the optical pointer may be used to align with the wrist tendon or the wrist joint front striation.
