Description
DANGER SIGNAL TRANSMITTING PORTABLE TERMINAL DEVICE AND DANGER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USED THEREOF
[Technical Field]
The present invention relates to a portable terminal device for generating a danger signal and a danger management system using the same, and more particularly, to a portable terminal device which generates a danger signal by allowing a user to press a button in a dangerous situation or automatically generates a danger signal when a shock is given or when a user breaks away a portable terminal device such that a rescue team is informed of the dangerous situation and is dispatched, continuously transmits positional information such that a movement path of the user is tracked when the rescue team is dispatched, generates a danger signal even when a user goes out of a examined movement path such that the rescue team is automatically dispatched in a dangerous situation such as kidnapping, and informs the user that the dangerous situation has been reported to the rescue team and the rescue team is currently being dispatched such that the user copes with the dangerous situation with composure so as to reduce secondary damage, and a danger management system using the same.
[Background Art]
Recently, a crime such as kidnapping, burglary, or rape has been increased. In particular, when a woman encounters danger at midnight, at a desolate place or in a running car and cannot make a telephone call, it is difficult for the woman to ask another person for help.
If a telephone call cannot be made in an emergency such as a traffic accident, a fire or a disaster, it is difficult to ask another person or an expert for help. Meanwhile, if an infant is kidnapped and a kidnapper does not make a
telephone call, a situation cannot be checked and infant's whereabouts is unknown.
Accordingly, a personal self-protection device for overcoming such a dangerous situation, such as a gas ejector, an electronic whistle or an electric shock device, may be used. However, it is difficult for a user to carry the personal self- protection device. In addition, it is difficult for the user to take the personal self- protection device out of his/her bag and uses the personal self-protection device against a strong criminal in a dangerous situation.
In general, since a criminal attacks a person to be protected at the rear before the person to be protected finds the criminal, the personal self-protection device may not be used.
Since the criminal who attacks the person to be protected moves from a primary crime scene to a secondary crime scene together with the person to be protected in order to prevent the criminal's identity from being disclosed and to freely take a criminal action, it is impossible to prevent a secondary crime although a witness reports an incident to a police.
The person to be protected may be tracked using a GPS receiver and a mobile telephone. However, if the criminal breaks away the mobile telephone of the person to be protected on the primary crime scene or removes a power source from the mobile telephone, it is impossible to protect the person to be protected from a crime.
[Disclosure] [Technical Problem]
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a portable terminal device which generates a danger signal by allowing a user to press a button in a dangerous situation or automatically generates a danger signal when a shock is given or when a user breaks away a portable terminal device such that a rescue
team is informed of the dangerous situation and is dispatched, and continuously transmits positional information such that a movement path of the user is tracked when the rescue team is dispatched.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a portable terminal device which is operated by the generation of a danger signal so as to transmit the position of a person to be protected over wireless local area communication although the portable terminal device for generating the danger signal is removed.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a danger management system using a portable terminal device for generating a danger signal, which examines a movement path of a user who wears the portable terminal device for generating the danger signal, and generates a danger signal when the user goes out of the movement path such that a rescue team is automatically dispatched in a dangerous situation such as kidnapping.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a danger management system using a portable terminal device for generating a danger signal, which informs a user that a dangerous situation has been reported to a rescue team and the rescue team is currently being dispatched such that the user copes with the dangerous situation with composure so as to reduce secondary damage.
[Technical Solution]

The management control unit may continuously inform the portable terminal device of a reception state and a rescue team dispatch state when the danger signal is received and a rescue team is dispatched.
[Advantageous Effects]
As described above, according to the present invention, since a danger signal is generated by allowing a user to press a button in a dangerous situation or the danger signal is automatically generated when a shock is given or when a user breaks away a portable terminal device, a rescue team can be informed of the dangerous situation and can be dispatched. Since positional information is continuously transmitted, a movement path of the user can be easily tracked when the rescue team is dispatched. Although the portable terminal device for generating the danger signal is removed, the portable terminal device is operated by the generation of a danger signal so as to transmit the position of a person to be protected over wireless local
area communication.
Since a movement path of a user who wears the portable terminal device for generating the danger signal is examined, when the user goes out of the movement path, a danger signal is generated such that a rescue team is automatically dispatched in a dangerous situation such as kidnapping.
Since a user is informed that a dangerous situation has been reported to a rescue team and the rescue team is currently being dispatched, through the portable terminal device for generating the danger signal, the user copes with the dangerous situation with composure so as to reduce secondary damage. When a dotard or a child wears a portable terminal device, the position of the person to be protected can be always checked. Accordingly, when the person to be protected gets lost or an incident happens, the danger signal is automatically generated, the person to be protected is identified and a protector is automatically informed of the incident. The present invention is used to restrict a criminal who commits a minor offense. That is, the criminal is not put in a concentration camp and a predetermined action region of the criminal is restricted while ensuring a free action such that the criminal can be managed. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the criminal from learning a crime in the concentration camp such that confinement and action restriction of a sex criminal are possible.
When the present invention is used to restrict the criminal and a violent physical contact occurs due to a secondary crime or friction of the criminal, the criminal confesses his/her crime and thus a crime factor can be prevented in advance.

The above and other objects, features and other advantages of the present invention will be more clearly understood from the following detailed description
taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing a portable terminal device for generating a danger signal according to an embodiment of the present invention;
Fig. 2 is a block diagram showing the portable terminal device for generating the danger signal according to the embodiment of the present invention; and
Fig. 3 is a view showing the configuration of a danger management system using the portable terminal device for generating the danger signal according to the embodiment of the present invention.
[Best Mode]
Hereinafter, an exemplary embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The same parts with the construction of the prior art are referred to with the same reference numerals and names. The present embodiment does not limit the scope of the present invention and may be modified by those skilled in the art without departing from the technical spirit of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing a portable terminal device for generating a danger signal according to an embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 2 is a block diagram showing the portable terminal device for generating the danger signal according to the embodiment of the present invention.
As shown, the portable terminal device 100 for generating the danger signal is fixed to a wrist of a user by a buckle 36 and a band 38. The band 38 includes a steel core 40 mounted therein so as to prevent the band 38 from being easily cut. The band 38 includes a cut sensor 22 which senses a cut state of the band 38.
The buckle 36 for fixing the band 38 includes a lock device 30 which is unlocked or locked by a master key 28 including a wireless local area
communication module such as a Zigbee module and an encryption chip.
At this time, the lock device 30 is prevented from being unlocked by the master key 28 when a danger signal is generated. Accordingly, in a dangerous situation, the lock device 30 cannot be unlocked even using the master key 28. A main body 110 of the portable terminal device 100 includes a GPS module 10 for measuring a current position using a GPS satellite, a mobile communication module 12 which is connected to the wireless Internet over a mobile communication network, transmits a danger signal, and receives a danger signal reception state and a rescue team dispatch state, a display unit 34 which displays a current situation when the danger signal is received or a rescue team is dispatched, and a vibration motor 32 which vibrates when the danger signal is received or the rescue team is dispatched.
A wireless local area communication module 14 which tracks the user over wireless local area communication in a building where a GPS signal cannot be received is further included. An assistance terminal (not shown) including the wireless local area communication module 14 is operated so as to easily track the user in a local area using the assistance terminal when the portable terminal device 10 is broken or lost.
At this time, if the wireless local area communication module 14, the GPS module 10 and the mobile communication module 12 are mounted in the assistance terminal, the positional information can be continuously transmitted even when the portable terminal device 100 is broken by physical force of a criminal.
If the assistance terminal having an extremely small size is attached at a position which cannot be found by the criminal, such as a sole of a user's shoe or the waist of the user, the assistance terminal transmits a maximum output signal over the wireless local area communication device such as a Zigbee device when the danger signal is generated. Accordingly, a rescue member who carries a wireless local area communication device can check the position of the user in a
space where the GPS signal is not received.
Danger buttons 26 are symmetrically provided on the left and right sides of the main body 110 of the portable terminal device 100 and are operated by the user in a dangerous situation. When any one or both of the danger buttons 26 are pressed for a predetermined time, the danger signal is generated.
The main body 110 includes the vibration motor 32 for informing the user, who carries the portable terminal device, of the danger signal reception state or the rescue team dispatch state.
A cancel button 24 including a plurality of buttons is further included such that the danger signal is canceled by pressing a combination of buttons to input a password within a predetermined time after the danger signal is generated.
A shock sensor 20 outputs a sense signal when at least a predetermined amount of shock is applied to the portable terminal device 100 in a state in which the user wears or does not wear the portable terminal device 100, such that the danger signal is generated.
The display unit 34 includes a liquid crystal display (LCD) and displays a battery charging state, a transmission/reception sensitivity of the GPS module 10 or the mobile communication module 12, a date and time, and an operation state of the cancel button 24 so as to display an operation state of the portable terminal device 100. The user may set a color to be changed according to a variation in situation, such that the user can easily check the current situation.
A control unit 36 checks current positional information using the GPS module 10 in a predetermined period, and transmits the current positional information via the mobile communication module 12, transmits a signal generated by the cut sensor 22, the danger buttons 26, the shock sensor 20 or the cancel button 24 via the mobile communication module 12, operates the wireless local area communication module 14, receives the generation state and the reception state of the danger signal, operates the vibration motor 32 and the display unit 34, controls the lock device 30, and controls the whole operation of the portable
terminal device 100.
A chemical material ejector 18 for ejecting a chemical material according to the operation of the cut sensor 22 is further included. That is, when a criminal tries to forcedly break the portable terminal device 100, the chemical material ejector 18 ejects the chemical material toward the criminal such that the body and the cloths of the criminal are stained with the chemical m'aterial. Thus, the criminal can be easily checked at the time of checking a passerby.
A speaker 16 for outputting button sound when operating the portable terminal device 100 and outputting alarm sound when the danger signal is generated is further included.
The operation of the portable terminal device for generating the danger signal according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described.
First, the user wears the portable terminal device according to the present invention by pushing the band 40 of the portable terminal device 100 into the lock device 30 of the buckle 38 to suitably adjust the length of the band 40 and detaching the master key 28 including the Zigbee device and the encryption chip from the lock device 30. After use, the master key 28 is accurately attached to the lock device 30 and the band 40 is unfastened.
A method of attaching/detaching the portable terminal device 100 is performed only in a normal state. When the danger signal is generated, the portable terminal device 100 cannot be unfastened using the master key 28.
The portable terminal device 100 generates the danger signal when the user, that is, a person to be protected, presses the danger buttons 26.
That is, when the user encounters danger, the user presses any one or both of the danger buttons 26 symmetrically provided in the main body 110 to generate the danger signal. At this time, when only any one of the danger buttons 26 is pressed, the pressing of the danger button should be maintained for 3 seconds or more such that malfunction which may occur in daily life are prevented.
Next, when the band 40 is broken in order to remove the portable terminal
device 100 from the person to be protected, the danger signal is generated.
That is, the steel core 42 is inserted in the band 40 such that the band 40 cannot be easily cut. In addition, when the band 40 is cut, the cut sensor 22 senses the cut state of the band and thus the danger signal is generated. In addition, the chemical material ejector 18 is operated by the signal of the cut sensor 22 such that the bodies and the cloths of the person to be protected and the criminal are strained with the chemical material. Thus, the criminal can be checked at the time of checking a passerby. Thus, it is difficult for the criminal to forcedly move the person to be protected to a secondary crime scene. Even when the portable terminal device 100 is forcedly broken or gets a shock, the danger signal is generated.
When a criminal attacks the person to be protected and breaks the portable terminal device 100 of the person to be protected such that the LCD of the display unit 34 is broken or at least the predetermined amount of shock is sensed, the danger signal is generated by the shock sensor 20. When the person to be protected, who wears the portable terminal device, strikes the criminal with his/her hand to which the portable terminal device 100 is attached or a shock is given to a bag in which the portable terminal device 100 is contained such that at least the predetermined amount of shock is given to the portable terminal device 100, the danger signal is generated by the shock sensor 20.
When the danger signal is generated, the wireless local area communication module 14 outputs a maximum output signal such that a rescue member who carries the wireless local area communication device easily tracks the person to be protected in a region where the GPS signal is not received. Meanwhile, when the portable terminal device 100 is broken or removed by the criminal, the assistance terminal is automatically operated by the generation of the danger signal. Accordingly, the positional information and the wireless local area communication signal are continuously output so as to track the person to be protected.
Fig. 3 is a view showing the configuration of a danger management system using the portable terminal device for generating the danger signal according to the embodiment of the present invention.
As shown, the danger management system includes the portable terminal device 100 which periodically transmits GPS positional information over a mobile communication network 44, transmits the danger signal by a shock or cut or the pressing of the danger button, and performs the wireless local area communication, a user database 46 which continuously stores the positional information received from the portable terminal device 100 over the mobile communication network 44 and stores the information on the portable terminal device 100, a management control unit 48 which stores the positional information received from the portable terminal device 100 in the user database 46, compares a region, which is examined on the basis of the positional information stored in the user database 46, with the received positional information, generates the danger signal and generates a rescue team dispatch command if an abnormal symptom appears, generates the rescue team dispatch command if the danger signal is received from the portable terminal device 100, and cancels the generation of the danger signal if a normal cancel request is received, and a rescue terminal (not shown) which receives and displays the positional information of the portable terminal device 100 for generating the danger signal over the mobile communication network 44 according to the rescue team dispatch command of the management control unit 48, and performs the wireless local area communication with the portable terminal device 100 for generating the danger signal.
At this time, the examined region is obtained by allowing the user who wears the portable terminal device 100 to live a daily life for a predetermined period and storing a movement path of the user which repeatedly comes and goes everyday, determining a daily life range, and examining a general life region of the user.
Meanwhile, if the person to be protected has a small radius of action or
cannot individually act like an infant, the examined region may be arbitrarily specified.
A crime-ridden district is stored in the user database 46. When the user passes the crime-ridden district, the management control unit 48 may transmit a signal for warning user.
When the user inputs a password using the cancel button 24 of the portable terminal device 100 within a predetermined time, a rescue member arrives a crime scene, checks the safety of the person to be protected and makes a request for the cancel using the rescue terminal, or a voiceprint of a protector who is automatically connected at the time of generating the danger signal is confirmed, the danger signal is canceled.
At this time, the voiceprint of the protector is confirmed by making a telephone call to the protector corresponding to the portable terminal device 100 for generating the danger signal at the time of generating the danger signal, and confirming the voice of the protector through automatic question and answer with the protector. At this time, if it is determined to the normal request of the protector, the generation of the danger signal is canceled.
When the danger signal is received and the rescue team is dispatched, the management control unit 48 continuously informs the user of the reception state and the rescue team dispatch state through the portable terminal device 100 such that the person to be protected waits for the rescue team with composure. Thus, it is possible to prevent the criminal from be stimulated due to resistance of the user and to prevent a secondary incident.
An operation of the danger management system using the portable terminal device 100 for generating the danger signal will now be described.
First, the portable terminal device 100 for generating the danger signal according to the embodiment of the present invention continuously stores the positional information in a predetermined period and analyzes and stores the information related to the movement region or the action region of the person to be
protected.
When the person to be protected moves to an abnormal path voluntarily or by attack of a criminal in a state in which the action region of the person to be protected is examined, the danger signal is automatically generated to give an alarm and information indicating the generation of the danger signal is transmitted to the telephone number of the protector who is registered according to the person to be protected and the portable terminal device 100 of the person to be protected such that the protector or the person to be protected confirms the dangerous situation. At this time, if the person to be protected voluntarily goes out of the examined movement path, the person to be protected cancels the generation of the danger signal by inputting the password using the cancel button 24 of the portable terminal device 100 within the predetermined time. However, when the person to be protected does not voluntarily go out of the examined movement path, does not input the password within the predetermined time due to non-confirmation of the generation of the danger signal, or inputs a wrong password, the danger signal is continuously valid and thus the rescue team is dispatched.
In addition, the danger signal is canceled by making a telephone call to the protector registered according to the portable terminal device 100 and confirming the voiceprint of the protector, and checking the password.
At this time, if the voice which is not registered is received, a wrong password is received or a response is not received within a predetermined time, the danger signal is continuously valid and thus the rescue team is dispatched.
However, when the normal checking procedure is performed such that it is determined to the normal movement, the movement distance and region are determined to a stable region until the movement is completed.
Meanwhile, when the user passes the crime-ridden distinct, the user is informed that the user passes the crime-ridden distinct through the display unit 34 or the vibration motor 32 of the portable terminal device 100.
Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims.
