Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brennervorrichtung (10) zur Verbrennung flüssigen Brennstoffs mit einer Zerstäuberdüse zur Vermischung des flüssigen Brennstoffs mit Verbrennungsluft zur Bildung eines zündfähigen Gasgemischs und mit einem Flammhalter (26) zur Stabilisierung einer das Gasgemisch verbrennenden Flamme. Um die Verkokung der Düse zu verhindern, wird vorgeschlagen, dass der Flammhalter im Bereich des Düsenaustritts angeordnet ist. Durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung wird erreicht, dass die Flammwurzel zur Düse hin rückverlegt und hierdurch die Düsentemperatur über die Verkokungsgrenze erhöht wird.
