Since the monolayer PET film has no internal layer interfaces, the result of this test gives the upper limit for peel strength for a polyester film detectable by this test method. A multilayer film having a peel strength identical to that of the PET monolayer film can be said to have no tendency whatsoever to delaminate within the ability of this test to detect it. The result is summarized in Table 4.
