Abstract
La présente invention concerne un joint de conduite isolant conçu pour être incorporé dans une canalisation, ledit joint de conduite possédant un éclateur. Selon cette invention, le joint de conduite isolant se compose de deux éléments en acier tubulaires (1, 3) et d'un manchon (2) à la fois isolant et étanche disposé entre les deux éléments en acier. L'éclateur (4) se trouve sous le bord externe du premier élément en acier (1) et présente la forme d'un espace situé entre le bord de l'élément en acier (1) et le disque (5) fixé au second élément en acier (3) placé face au manchon (2) isolant et étanche. La hauteur des encoches présentes dans l'élément en acier (3) et dans le manchon (2) isolant et étanche est fixée afin de satisfaire à la relation suivante : la hauteur de ces encoches est égale à la moitié de la différence entre les diamètres externe et interne des ces éléments.
