Abstract
Pour réaliser un fil en aluminium recouvert de cuivre capable de conserver ses performances électriques et mécaniques d'origine lors d'une utilisation dans des environnements dont les températures dépassent 150°C, le fil est réalisé suivant un procédé au cours duquel un matériau 4 étranger au cuivre et à l'aluminium est introduit en faible quantité à l'interface entre le noyau en aluminium 21 et la couche de cuivre 31. Le matériau 4 a pour effet de retarder la précipitation du cuivre dans l'aluminium et la croissance des zones dites de Guinier-Preston. Le fil est réalisé par un procédé connu de réduction du diamètre d'un barreau composite 11 et le matériau étranger 4 est introduit à l'interface entre le cuivre et l'aluminium lors de la réalisation du barreau composite pour être présent à l'état de traces après réduction du diamètre.
