Definitions
- the present invention relates generally to a mosquito killer and more particularly to a mosquito killer of which two wires can be installed keeping spaced uniformly apart around lure lamp in an easier and safer way.
- Flying insects such as mosquitoes, houseflies, moths, and the like generally have a habit to fly toward around a light which is brighter than surroundings.
- Electric-shock insect killers using such a habit of flying insects have been developed and used widely, for which a lure lamp is equipped in main body, and current wires are installed around the lure lamp. When flying insects are enticed to contact with the current wires of electric-shock insect killers, they are shocked to death by a high voltage current flowing through the current wires.
- the current wires should be installed firmly keeping some distance each other.
- a manufacturing process of current wires and an installing process of current wires firmly around the lure lamp will require welding work, which means additional difficult process and increase of manufacturing cost.
- these kinds of insect killers are not for exclusively killer use of mosquitoes, so space between the current wires is rather big, and it is limited for total size of insect killer to be miniaturized. Therefore these kinds of electric-shock insect killers are not good for such convenient household indoor use as in a living room, a bedroom, or the like.
- the present invention was contrived to alleviate or solve above- mentioned problems and/or drawbacks. It is an object of the present invention therefore to provide a mosquito killer, of which two wires can be installed keeping spaced uniformly apart around a lure lamp in an easier and safer way, leaving no worry about contacting between two adjacent wires due to distortion of wires by external force.
- a mosquito killer according to the present invention in order to achieve the objects described above comprises a case including a body part formed therein with a reception space and a fixture formed at a side of said body part for installing said body part onto wall; a control part installed in said reception space formed in body part of said case and equipped with a booster for elevating input alternative current to a high voltage current; a lure lamp combined at a side of said control part for radiating a light to entice mosquitoes; a bobbin located under said control part and having in central part thereof a hole longitudinally formed for insertion of said lure lamp; a first wire wound at periphery of said bobbin, an end of the first wire being connected to a terminal of output terminals formed at said control part; a second wire wound keeping spaced uniformly apart from said first wire at periphery of said bobbin, an end of the second wire being connected to a terminal of output terminals formed at said control part other than the terminal connected to said first wire; and a shelter cage formed therein with a space part
- Said bobbin preferably has in central part thereof a through-hole formed penetrating longitudinally and a reflection plate is preferably combined at a side of said through-hole for reflecting light radiation from said LED.
- Said bobbin is preferably formed at peripheral surface thereof with grooves at a constant interval from one another in order for said first wire and second wire to be wound spaced apart each other.
- Said bobbin preferably comprises a body part that is formed in central part thereof with a hole for insertion of said lure lamp and is equipped at periphery thereof with a plurality of grooves longitudinally formed at a constant interval from one another; and a plurality of protruding pieces inserted radially at the grooves formed at periphery of said body part.
- Said protruding pieces are preferably formed at their radial outer-end surfaces with grooves at a constant interval from one another in order for said first wire and second wire to be wound spaced apart each other.
- Said fixture is preferably a base formed helically at upper part of said body part.
- Said fixture is preferably a plate-form member formed at backside of said body part, wherein said plate-form member is formed at a side thereof with a hanger in order to hang said body part at wall.
- the two wires can be installed keeping spaced uniformly apart around a lure lamp in an easier and safer way, leaving no worry about contacting between two adjacent wires due to distortion of wires by external force.
- a mosquito killer according to the present invention can be manufactured in a small size which can be used as the exclusive use of killing mosquitoes in such convenient indoor use as in a living room, a bedroom, or the like while manufacturing process thereof is simplified and manufacturing cost thereof is reduced.
