  • This stop means 32 is joumalled rotatably on a shaft 34 and the shop means comprises an edge 32 (shown in Figure 3) which is able to lockingly engage with a corresponding edge 33 on the hinge (also shown in Figure 3).
  • the shaft 34 of the stop means 32 is spring- biased such that the stop means seeks towards the position in which it prevents the hinge from turning towards the position in which the anti-fall protection can be separated from the rail. Thereby further preventive measures against the anti-fall protection being unintentionally dismounted form the rail 20 are provided.
  • the hinge 12 can also be securely locked in engagement with the stop means 32, it being possible to fixate the stop means in this position by means of a latch 50.

  • the anti-fall protection and the latch can be adapted to be such that the lower end 52 of the latch protrudes out through the underside of the anti-fall protection. It is the object of this that the end 52 of the latch - when the latch allows rotation of the stop means 32 - can and will hit the rungs of a ladder (not shown in the figuresl on which the rail 20 and anti-fall protection are mounted.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de protection antichute de personnes travaillant sur des échelles avec des barreaux. Le système comprend une protection antichute avec un premier et un second côté et une charnière mobile pouvant être fixée à une personne au moyen d'une corde de sécurité, d'un harnais ou analogue, et un rail pour une fixation dans une position sensiblement verticale sur ou au niveau de l'échelle. La protection antichute et le rail comportent des moyens de verrouillage coopérants conçus pour que ladite protection puisse coulisser sur le rail lorsque ce dernier est déplacé dans une direction et elle est solidement attachée au rail lorsque la charnière est déplacée dans une autre direction. Le rail et la protection antichute sont également configurés avec des moyens de mise en prise complémentaires et asymétriques pour que ladite protection puisse être montée sur le rail avec uniquement un côté vers le haut, et lesdits premier et second côtés étant mutuellement mobiles pour que les moyens puissent être amenés à se dégager du rail. Entre les premier et second côtés, le système antichute comprend également des moyens de raccord qui coopèrent avec la charnière dans le but que les premier et second côtés de ladite protection puissent être dégagés du rail uniquement lorsque la charnière est déplacée dans une direction.
