Abstract

L'invention concerne un congélateur résistant au givre comprenant une chambre, une porte, un dispositif de refroidissement et un déshydratant. La chambre du congélateur comprend un volume. La porte permet d'accéder à la chambre du congélateur. Le dispositif de refroidissement refroidit l'air à l'intérieur de la chambre à partir d'une première température dans la chambre immédiatement après la fermeture de la porte jusqu'à une seconde température de repos pendant une période de refroidissement. Le déshydratant est disposé dans la chambre du congélateur et est sélectionné en vue d'une absorption de l'humidité de la chambre à une vitesse permettant de réduire l'humidité relative à l'intérieur de la chambre à une valeur suffisamment faible pour prévenir la formation de givre dans ladite chambre à la température de repos.
