Description

[DESCRIPTION]
[invention Title]
THE PORTABI-E SPEAKER RESONATOR FOR VARYING HIGH- PITCHED SOUND AND LOW-PITCHED SOUND [Technical Field]
The present invention relates to a portable speaker resonator for varying high-pitched sound and low-pitched sound, and more particularly, to a resonator for adjusting sound volume by which a user directly varies the inner volume of a speaker enclosure and for adjusting volume of high-pitched sound by adjusting opening degree of resonance holes. [Background Art]
Generally, since the inner resonance hole of an enclosure of a conventional speaker is fixed, the sound quality is varied by a sound adjusting device.
As such, when listening sound using the conventional speaker, the sound outputted from the conventional speaker is easily heard in a silent circumstance. However, in a noisy circumstance, the sound outputted from the conventional speaker is hardly heard or the sound quality is deteriorated when the sound volume is increased.
Moreover, since a mountable resonator is mounted at a predetermined position of the speaker, additional components are needed and the installation thereof is difficult. Since one speaker requires one resonator, costs are also increased. [Disclosure] [Technical Problem]
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above and/or other problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a small and effective portable speaker resonator for adjusting volume of high- pitched sound by which a user directly varies the inner volume of a speaker enclosure and for allowing a user to make desired sound color by varying a resonance hole. [Technical Solution]
In accordance with the present invention, the above and other aspects can be accomplished by the provision of a portable speaker resonator for varying high-pitched sound and low-pitched sound, including: a main body having an accommodating space for accommodating a battery and an electronic unit; outer cases sliding to open and close the main body positioned at the center thereof; a speaker unit including speakers installed at the inner lateral sides of the outer cases and fixed through-hole plates having a plurality of through-holes and positioned at the sides of the speakers and outputting sound source through external sound source through-holes; resonance adjusting units including circular rotating plates installed to rotate at the sides of the fixed through-hole plates that are provided in the outer case and rotating and sliding to vary the opening degree of resonance holes of the sound source through-holes; locking steps for preventing the outer cases from separating from the main body; and U-shaped rubber rings coupled with the locking steps to minimize vibration frictional noise generated between the main body and the outer cases and to prevent the sound source from leaking. [Best Mode]
Hereinafter, the embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings .
FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a portable speaker resonator for varying high-pitched sound and low- pitched sound according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in the drawing, a variable resonator 100 according to the embodiment of the present invention is characterized in that a user of a speaker 10 directly adjusts sound volume of high-pitched sound and low-pitched sound by varying the inner volume of a speaker enclosure.
The variable resonator 100 includes a main body 20 having an accommodating space for accommodating a battery and an electronic unit, and an outer case 40 sliding along the lateral sides of the main body 20 to open and close.
In other words, the variable resonator 100 has a structure in which the outer case 40 encloses the main body 10 for accommodating circuit components in order to minimize the volume of the enclosure of the speaker 10.
Since the outer case 40 has a plurality of sound source through-holes 42 formed in the lateral sides, the speaker 10 installed therein generates the sound source. The sound source of a speaker unit 60 passes through a fixed through-hole plate 30 and a circular rotating plate 50 that are installed in a side of the speaker 10 and is outputted through the sound through-holes 42.
The outer case 40 and the main body 20 form a cylindrical body.
Here, as shown in FIG. 2, the circular rotating plate 50 is installed to a side of the fixed through-hole plate 30 that is provided in the outer case 40 to form a resonance-adjusting unit 80. The resonance-adjusting unit 80 rotates and slides to vary an opening degree of the resonance holes to adjust the high-pitched sound of the sound source. The resonance adjusting unit 80, as shown in FIG. 3, includes traveling spaces formed in sides of the outer case 40, and adjusting levers 52 connected to the circular rotating plate and vertically moved within a predetermined range of the traveling spaces to adjust the opening degree of the resonance holes of the sound source though-holes by varying the sizes of the through-holes 32 of the fixed through-hole plate 30.
Circular rotating plates 50 have a plurality of vent holes and rotate due to the vertical movement of the adjusting levers 52.
Moreover, the circular rotating plates 50, as shown in FIG. 5, are installed in grooves 42 formed in the inner circumference of the outer case 40 and rotate at fixed places.
Here, the grooves 42 of the outer case 40 make the circular rotating plates rotate without separation. In other words, the fixed through-hole plate 30 in the outer case 40 has the same number of through-holes as the number of the vent holes 54 of each circular rotating plate 50. Thus, when the through-holes 32 of the fixed through- hole plate 30 are aligned with the vent holes 54, the resonance holes are fully opened. The circular rotating plates 50 move to the positions, where the through-holes 32 are not aligned with the vent holes 54, to adjust the opening degree of the resonance holes.
Moreover, locking steps 72 are formed in the outer circumferences of the lateral sides of the main body 30 to restrict the outer case to slide within a predetermined range .
Moreover, the locking steps 72 are coupled with U- shaped rubber rings 70 to minimize vibration sound generated between the outer case 40 and the main body 20 and to prevent the sound source from leaking.
Hereinafter, in order to describe the present invention in detail such that those skilled in the art can easily carry out the present invention, the preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings .
FIG. 4 is a side view illustrating the portable speaker resonator for varying high-pitched sound and low- pitched sound according to the embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a partial side view illustrating the portable speaker resonator for varying high-pitched sound and low-pitched sound according to the embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in the drawings, the main body 20 of the present invention includes a power switch 2, a power operation lamp 4, a DC power adapter jack 6, a volume adjustor 8, and a battery exchanging cover 9.
Additionally, the outer cases 40 slide with respect to the main body 20 to open and close the same.
In the outer cases 40, U-shaped rubber rings 70 are coupled with the locking steps 72 for preventing the main body 20 from separating to removing surface frictional sound due to the vibration when the sound source is outputted.
Moreover, the speakers 10 are provided at the inner lateral sides of the outer cases 40 and the sound source through-holes 42 are formed in the outer lateral sides of the outer cases 40 to output the sound source.
Moreover, the resonance-adjusting unit 80 rotates and slides such that the opening degree of the resonance holes of the sound source through-holes 42 using the misalignment between the fixed through-hole plate 30 and the circular rotating plates of the outer case 40 is varied and the high-pitched sound of the sound source is adjusted. The speakers 10 are provided in the outer cases 40 and the speakers are electrically connected to the main body by wires so that the inner empty spaces of the outer cases 40 become resonance volume varying spaces of the speakers . Here, as shown in FIG. 5, in the resonance adjusting unit 80, the traveling spaces 46 are formed in sides of the outer cases 40, the adjusting levers 52 are formed in the traveling spaces 46 to vertically move within a predetermined range to adjust the opening degree of the resonance holes of the sound source through-holes 40, and the circular rotating plates 50, having a plurality of vent holes 54 and rotated by the vertical movement of the adjusting levers 52, are installed in the grooves 44 formed in the inner circumferences of the outer cases 40 so that the circular rotating plates 50 are rotated within the installed position by the adjusting levers 52 without separation.
Here, the grooves 44 of the outer cases 40 allow the circular rotating plates 50 to rotate without separation. The circular rotating plates 50 move to the positions, where the through-holes 32 are not aligned with the vent holes 54, to adjust the opening degree of the resonance holes .
Hereinafter, operation and effect of the variable resonator 100 of a speaker according to the present invention will be described. The variable resonator 100 of the present invention adjusts the sound volume by varying the volume thereof and the low-pitched sound, and the high-pitched sound by adjusting the opening degree of the holes.
Moreover, the variable resonator 100 has a structure that, when the resonance structure of a speaker is minimized to carry, the speaker enclosure encloses the electronic components.
The variable resonator 100, as shown as another embodiment of the present invention in FIG. 6, can be applied to an external speaker 200, and is installed to a speaker of general audio set or a speaker of a desktop computer in which an amplifying circuit is installed therein.
Since the variable resonator 100 has a structure of minimizing the volume of the speaker enclosure, a portable device (such as a mobile phone, a laptop computer, a DMB device, a TV, a small amplifier, and the like) for outputting sound through a speaker can be made in a small size in the form of a structure in which a speaker case encloses the part for accommodating circuit components. Since the inner space of the speaker case can be expanded, a sufficient space can be provided when use. Due to the variation of the volume, the characteristics of the low- pitched sound can be improved and the sound quality and the sound volume can be maximized in the same size speaker.
Additionally, the portable speaker resonator of the present invention is applied to a general audio set, a speaker, and a separate speaker of a desktop computer such that the size of the resonance holes and the volume are varied to output sound with various sound color from one speaker. Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims. [industrial Applicability]
As described above, the portable speaker resonator for varying high-pitched sound and low-pitched sound can adjust the sound volume and the low-pitched sound by adjusting the volume. The size of opened holes is adjusted to adjust the high-pitched sound. When the resonance structure is minimized, the speaker enclosure encloses overall electronic components to reduce the volume. The portable speaker resonator is easily carried, and enables a speaker to output various sound colors.
