Abstract
電源回路を構成するコンバータの1次側主回路部にコンデンサなどの余分な素子を追加することなく、偏励磁防止を行うために、主トランスT1の一次巻線N1に、スイッチQ1~Q4により電流方向を切り替えながら電流を供給してコンバート作用を行う電源回路において、主トランスT1に補助巻線N3を設けるとともに、該補助巻線N3にコンデンサを直列接続し、該コンデンサにより偏励磁成分を抑制するようにした。

明 細 書
電源回路及びそれを用いた電子装置及び電源回路の偏励磁防止方法 技術分野
[0001] 本発明は、スイッチングコンバータ等に適用され、スイッチング電源の偏励磁を防止 して、コンバータを安定に動作させることができる電源回路及びそれを用いた電子装 置及び電源回路の偏励磁防止方法に関するものである。
背景技術
[0002] 図 3は従来のフルブリッジ型コンバータによる電源回路を示す回路図である。図 3に おいて、 Vinは直流電源、 Q1〜Q4は開閉スィッチ、 T1は主トランス、 N1は一次卷 線、 N2は二次卷線、 Dl, D2は電流の方向規制ダイオードである。この回路は、スィ ツチ Ql, Q4とスィッチ Q2, Q3とが夫々 180度異なる位相差で開閉動作し、主トラン ス T1にお!/、てコンバートされた出力を得る。
[0003] 力かる回路において、コンデンサ Cに流れる電流は、スィッチ Q2, Q3が閉じた場合 は、図 4 (a)に示すようになり、一方、スィッチ Ql, Q4が閉じた場合は、図 4 (b)に示 すようになり、合わせると、図 4 (c)に示すようになる。
[0004] このコンデンサ Cは、フルブリッジ型コンバータの主トランスの一次側に直列に接続 され、直流分をカットし、主トランスの偏励磁を防止するものである。
発明の開示
発明が解決しょうとする課題
[0005] 図 3、図 4に示したように、従来の電源回路では、主トランスの 1次側電流が全てコン デンサ Cに流れる為、コンデンサ Cを流れる電流 (許容リップル電流)ゃ耐電圧の面 で制約があり、小容量のコンバータには適用できても、大容量の電力変換を行う電源 回路の偏励磁防止には適さな力つた。
[0006] また、電源回路のコンバータの 1次側に偏励磁防止用の素子(1例として、コンデン サ等)を付加しなければならないことからスペース、構造的に制約を受けるものとなつ ていた。
[0007] そこで、本発明は、主トランスの偏励磁を防止するとともに、小容量から大容量コン
バータまで適用でき、且つ、コンバータの 1次側に偏励磁防止用のコンデンサ等の付 加は不要となって、スペース、構造的に制約を受けず、設計の柔軟性をもたらすこと ができる電源回路及びそれを用いた電子装置及び電源回路の偏励磁防止方法を提 供することを目的としている。
課題を解決するための手段
[0008] 上述した課題を解決するため、本発明の電源回路は、一次卷線と二次卷線を有す る主トランスと、前記主トランスの一次卷線に電流方向を切り替えながら電源からの電 流を供給する複数のスィッチと、前記主トランスに設けられる補助卷線と、前記補助 卷線に直列接続されたコンデンサとを備えてなるものである。
[0009] また、本発明の電源回路において、前記複数のスィッチによりフルブリッジコンパ一 タが構成されることを特徴とする。
[0010] また、本発明の電源回路において、前記複数のスィッチによりプッシュプルコンパ ータが構成されることを特徴とする。
[0011] さらに、本発明の電子装置は、一次卷線と二次卷線を有する主トランスと、前記主ト ランスの一次卷線に電流方向を切り替えながら電源からの電流を供給する複数のス イッチと、前記主トランスの二次卷線に接続され、前記主トランスからの電力が供給さ れる電子機器と、前記主トランスに設けられる補助卷線と、前記補助卷線に直列接続 されたコンデンサとを備えてなるものである。
[0012] また、本発明は、主トランスの一次卷線にスィッチにより電流方向を切り替えながら 電流を供給してコンバート作用を行う電源回路の偏励磁防止方法であって、前記主 トランスに補助卷線を設けるとともに、該補助卷線にコンデンサを直列に接続し、該コ ンデンサにより偏励磁成分を抑制するようにしたことを特徴とする。

図 1は、本発明の実施の形態 1に係る電子装置を示す回路図である。
[0015] 図 1に示す電子装置は、電源回路 1と電子機器 3とを備える。電源回路 (コンバータ )は、ブリッジ型スイッチングコンバータによる電源回路であり、一次卷線 N1と二次卷 線 N2-l、 N2— 2を有する主トランス T1と、主トランス T1の一次卷線 N1に電流方向 を切り替えながら、電源 Vinからの電流を供給する複数のスィッチ Q1〜Q4と、主トラ ンス T1に設けられる補助卷線 N3と、補助卷線 N3に接続されたコンデンサ Cとを備 えている。
[0016] 二次卷線 N2-l、 N2— 2の出力側には、コンデンサ Coutとインダクタンス Loutから なる平滑回路を介して、電源回路 1からの電力が供給されて駆動する電子機器 3が 接続されている。この電子機器 3には、携帯電話機や PDA(Personal Digital Assistan t)や PC(Personal Computer)や通信装置や伝送用装置などの各種電子機器が含ま れ得る。
[0017] この電源回路 1は、主トランス T1に設けられた補助卷線 N3にコンデンサ Cを接続 することにより、主トランス T1の 1次側電流の卷数比に比例した電流をコンデンサにも 供給することで、正側 (仮にマスタ側と呼ぶ)と負側 (仮にスレイブ側と呼ぶ)の不平衡 、すなわち電気的には直流分を無くし、主トランス T1の偏励磁を防止することで、スィ ツチング電源の安定動作を可能にする。
[0018] 以下、本発明の実施の形態の動作について、図 1に示す回路図において説明する
[0019] 今、スィッチ Q2, Q3が導通して、 Aに示すように、正の半波の電流ルート (Vin (+) →Q3→Tl-Nl→Q2→Vin (-) )と電流が流れ、トランス T1の一次卷線 N1に電源電圧 Vinが印加される。
[0020] それと同時に補助卷線 N3にも電圧が誘起され、コンデンサ Cを充電する電流が流 れる。
[0021] 次に、スィッチ Q1,Q4が導通して、 Bに示すように、負の半波の電流ルート(Vin (+) →Q1→T1- Nl→Q4→Vin (-))と電流が流れ、トランス T1の一次卷線 N1に正のルー プとは逆の向きに電圧 Vinが印加される。
[0022] 同時に、補助卷線 N3にも電圧が誘起され、コンデンサ Cを充放電する電流が流れ る。
[0023] これにより、電気的な動作は T1—N1と直列にコンデンサ Cが挿入されたことと同等 となり、正、負のスイッチング動作の偏り(直流分)を遮断することが可能となり、 1次側 のループにコンデンサ等、余分な素子を付加することなぐブリッジコンバータの偏励 磁防止動作を可能にする。
[0024] 更に本発明の実施の形態では、 1次側ループにコンデンサ等の素子を追加するこ となぐスイッチング動作の偏励磁を防止することが可能となるため、電力変換容量に 制約されず適用が可能である。
[0025] 図 2は、本発明の第 2の実施の形態に係る電子装置を示す回路図であり、実施の 形態 1で示したブリッジコンバータに代わり、プッシュプルコンバータに適用した電源 回路 1 A及びそれを用いた電子装置 3を示している。この電源回路 (コンバータ) 1A においては、二つのスィッチ Q1,Q2において、直流電源 Vinからの電流を 180度切 り替えて一次卷線 Nl— 1又は N1— 2に供給する。このコンバータにおいても、主トラ ンス T1に補助卷線 N3を設け、この補助卷線 N3に直列にコンデンサ Cを接続して ヽ る。動作は図 1の場合と同じであり、ここでの説明を省略する。
[0026] 以上、本発明の実施の形態によれば、主トランスに補助卷線 N3を設けてコンデン サを接続することにより偏励磁防止をすることで、ブリッジコンバータの 1次側主回路 部に余分な素子を追加することなぐブリッジコンバータやプッシュプルコンバータ等
、偏励磁防止を考慮しなければならない全てのコンバータを用いた電源回路におい て偏励磁防止制御が可能となる。また、偏励磁防止が行われて効率的に動作し、或 いは電源を供給して動作することができる電子装置を得ることができる。
[0027] ここでいうスィッチとは、 FET (電界効果型トランジスタ)や IGBT (絶縁ゲート型バイ ポーラトランジスタ)やバイポーラトランジスタや SIT (静電誘導型トランジスタ)など、ス イッチングコンバータのスィッチとして使用される全ての素子を指す。
産業上の利用可能性
[0028] 上述したように、本発明によれば、主トランスの偏励磁を防止するとともに、小容量 カも大容量コンバータまで適用でき、且つ、コンバータの 1次側に偏励磁防止用のコ
ンデンサ等の付加は不要となって、スペース、構造的に制約を受けず、設計の柔軟 性をもたらすことができる電源回路及びそれを用いた電子装置、並びに電源回路の 偏励磁防止方法を得ることができる。

[1] 一次卷線と二次卷線を有する主トランスと、
前記主トランスの一次卷線に電流方向を切り替えながら電源からの電流を供給する 複数のスィッチと、
前記主トランスに設けられる補助卷線と、
前記補助卷線に直列接続されたコンデンサと
を備えてなる電源回路。
[2] 請求項 1に記載の電源回路において、
前記複数のスィッチによりフルブリッジコンバータが構成されることを特徴とする電 源回路。
[3] 請求項 1に記載の電源回路において、
前記複数のスィッチによりプッシュプルコンバータが構成されることを特徴とする電 源回路。
[4] 一次卷線と二次卷線を有する主トランスと、
前記主トランスの一次卷線に電流方向を切り替えながら電源からの電流を供給する 複数のスィッチと、
前記主トランスの二次卷線に接続され、前記主トランス力 の電力が供給される電 子機器と、
前記主トランスに設けられる補助卷線と、
前記補助卷線に直列接続されたコンデンサと
を備えてなる電子装置。
[5] 主トランスの一次卷線にスィッチにより電流方向を切り替えながら電流を供給してコン バート作用を行う電源回路の偏励磁防止方法であって、
前記主トランスに補助卷線を設けるとともに、該補助卷線にコンデンサを直列に接 続し、該コンデンサにより偏励磁成分を抑制するようにしたことを特徴とするスィッチン グコンバータの偏励磁防止方法。
