Abstract

The subject-matter of the method consists in that at least one specially shaped hollowing (2) is pre-formed into a metal absorption plate (1) of a thickness of 0.1 to 1.0 mm, into which hollowing a tube (3) is inserted forming a part of tube register (4) of a solar collector. Subsequently, the tube (3) is pressed in the absorption plate (1) so that it is firmly locked in the tube register (4). Before creation of the specially shaped hollowing (2), the metal absorption plate (1) may be provided with an absorption coating. The metal absorption plate (1) and tube register (4) may be made of aluminum, copper, steel or other metal material, or of a combination of the metals.

Description

Method of connecting absorption plate with tube register of a thermal solar collector
Technical Field
Present invention concerns a method of connecting absorption plate with tube register of a thermal solar collector.
Background Art
At present the following methods are most often used for connecting an absorber with a tube register:
An absorber made by soldering - it has a disadvantage that both absorber and tube register must be made of the same material, the joint has relatively small contact surface and, as a consequence, it exhibits relatively high resistance against heat transfer from the absorber to heat transferring medium flowing in the tube register. A further disadvantage consists in that at increasing stagnant temperatures of high performance modern collectors the danger of solder softening and separating the absorber from the tubes increases, or possibly, that fusing agents may release gases which might condense in the form of stains at the inner side of the transparent collector cover.
An absorber, produced by welding using ultrasound, has a disadvantage that similarly as in the above case it allows connecting of the same materials only and, moreover, it exhibits even higher resistance for the heat transfer from the absorber into the tube. A further disadvantage consists in that during welding the selective conversion layer at the weld site is mechanically destructed, thus deteriorating the performance parameters and appearance of the absorber.
An absorber, produced by welding using laser, has a disadvantage that the resistance against heat transfer from the absorber into the tube register is the highest from among all above mentioned examples. A further disadvantage consists in that if the absorber and the tube register are made of different materials, the joint durability may be considerably limited as a consequence of different heat dilatations.
The aim of the present invention is a method of production of an absorber exhibiting small resistance against heat transfer, wherein the absorption plate and the tube register may be made of materials having different thermal expansions.
Disclosure of Invention
The above requirements are fulfilled by the method of connecting an absorption plate with a tube register of a thermal solar collector, the subject-matter of which consists in that a specially shaped hollowings are pre-formed in a metal absorption plate of a thickness of 0.1 to 1.0 mm. Into this hollowings a tube is inserted forming a part of the tube register of a solar collector. Subsequently, the tube is pressed in the absorption plate so that it is firmly locked in the tube register.
It has been found that it is preferable to apply an absorption layer on the metal absorption plate before pre-forming the specially shaped hollowing.
It is preferable as well, if the metal absorption plate and the tube register are made of aluminum, copper, steel or other metal material.
It has been found that it is preferable, if the register tube is after pressing in the absorption plate deformed, in consequence of which turbulent character of flow in the tube is increased and heat transfer from the absorption plate to heat transferring medium is improved.
The main advantage of the present invention is the small resistance against heat transfer from the absorption plate to heat transferring medium, trouble-free connecting of materials exhibiting different thermal expansions, long service life, good appearance of the absorber without damaging the absorption layer, easy stabilization of the absorber position relative to the transparent collector cover, trouble-free recycling in the case of the absorber separation from the tube register even in the case, when they are made of different materials.
An overview of figures in the drawings
The attached figure shows an absorber produced by the method according to the present invention.
Examples of embodiments of the invention
Example 1
In a selectively coated absorption aluminum plate λ_ of the thickness of 0.4 mm specially shaped hollowing 2 is pre-formed, into which a copper tube 3 is inserted, forming a part of the tube register 4. The copper tube 3 fits with its diameter into the shaped hollowing 2. Subsequently, the copper tube 3 is pressed in the absorption aluminum plate 1_ in a special press so that most part of copper tube 3 surface is firmly locked in the tube register 4.
Example 2
In an absorption copper plate 1_ of the thickness of 0.2 mm specially shaped hollowing 2 is pre-formed, into which a copper tube 3 is inserted, forming a part of the tube register 4. The copper tube 3 fits with its diameter into the shaped hollowing 2. Subsequently, the copper tube 3 is pressed in the absorption aluminum plate 1 in a special press so that most part of copper tube 3 surface is firmly locked in the tube register 4.
Industrial applicability
The method according to the present invention may be utilized in the production of thermal solar collectors.
