Still further, it is to be noted that the replacement of the contact elements can be carried out using a relatively low level of skill and, accordingly, less costly labour than would be necessary for the invention of a conventional repair procedure.

Abstract

Rouleau (1) de bande transporteuse possédant une forme généralement cylindrique et présentant une surface extérieure propre et une surface de contact distincte (2) maintenue radialement à l'écart de celle-ci en vue de venir au contact fonctionnel d'une bande transporteuse à laquelle le rouleau est associé. La surface de contact est une surface composite constituée de surfaces orientées vers l'extérieur comportant une pluralité d'éléments de contact remplaçables (3, 17, 24, 25, 29, 30, 36) maintenus en relation fonctionnelle avec la surface du rouleau par des moyens de fixation mécanique (7, 12, 22, 23, 26, 33, 35) qui viennent physiquement au contact desdits éléments pour les maintenir en coopération avec le rouleau. Les éléments de contact sont au contact ou à proximité immédiate de la surface extérieure propre de façon à être comprimés au contact de celle-ci et à mettre ainsi la bande transporteuse au contact de leurs surfaces orientées vers l'extérieur.
