- a mobile terminal gets into contact with CPE, it informs the subscriber database via the IP-connection that this has been made. This can result in that the traffic to the mobile terminal is controlled via the IP-network and CPE, instead of over the mobile network. This, however, is no requirement for the present invention.
- the subscriber database already has access to the position of the mobile terminal, which has been acquired in known way, but when used positioning method so allows, the positioning function in the mobile terminal can be activated in known way via the mobile network to obtain such a current position as possible. Because CPE is registered in the same subscriber database, the position data of the mobile terminal also can be associated with CPE.
- the units of equipment which are connected to CPE and are registered in the subscriber database then share this position.
- the position of CPE can be propagated down to CPE, and be acquired via inquiry from CPE, or be kept only in the subscriber database.
- the position information is added by IMS at outgoing call.
