Abstract

The modular bath is formed from a base or floor module (1), side-wall modules (2) and a roof module (3) such that all these modules are formed from a reticular wooden framework with insulation, the floor module (1) incorporating a support slab (6) for the flooring (7), fixed onto the wooden frame (4), whilst the modules (2) have panels or slabs (16) on the outer face, with their corresponding finish, and slabs (14) on the inner face with the corresponding tiling (15), all the modules incorporating, in correspondence with the wooden frameworks, the respective conduits for the supply of water and light and the air installation, the roof (3) having modules (3') fixed by means of plates (21) in the upper part of the lateral-wall modules (2).

Description

PREFABRICATED MODULAR BATH OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention, as expressed in the statement of this specification, refers to a prefabricated modular bath, intended for placement or application in those spaces established for that purpose in the homes or premises in which it is installed.

The object of the invention is to simplify the tasks of building a bathroom, without the need for complex masonry, plumbing and electrical works, as well as finishing the bathroom itself, based on a modularity and prefabrication that allow assembly and association of components quickly and without problems, satisfying the most demanding services requested or required by users.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

As is known, the bathrooms are the parts of the building whose construction involves the greatest number of specialists (tiling painters, electrician and tilers) so the complexity of trades and materials are evident, all of which have an impact on the amount of Cost per square meter is very high compared to the rest of the building (housing, premises, etc.). On the other hand, and as a consequence of the chain required for the execution of the different tasks to be performed by the different specialists, sometimes the bad conditions (reduced space, poor lighting, awkward postures, limited means in terms of tools, pallets, cutter tiles, etc.), supposes a delay of the period of construction of the buildings.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that the shortage of skilled labor in the sector, sharpens every day the difficulty of offering the market well-built bathrooms to continue satisfying the demands of the users, accustomed to knowing and enjoying the excellence of the usual bathrooms.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The bath object of the invention presents some peculiarities and novelties that come to solve the problems raised in the previous section, based on the fact that it is modular and prefabricated, being able to be easily transported from factory to work, and be mounted in it quickly, easily and effective. In this sense, the bath of the invention comprises: a base or floor, side walls, and roof, as well as corresponding conduits for water, light, gas, etc., so that all these components are modular and prefabricated to be transported. comfortably to work and be manipulated in it with great ease.

The base or floor module is constituted from a wooden frame with leveling legs, insulating glass wool and a double vapor barrier on its surface, so that on said frame a carrier panel of the corresponding pavement is arranged. Such a wooden frame is preferably formed by two parts that can be attached to each other on site, without discarding that it can be of a single piece or of more than two pieces, while the pavement, which will be fixed by glue or by another appropriate system, will be stoneware, marble or other ceramic materials, the board-pavement assembly being modulated in four pieces for better handling and maintenance registration, without ruling out that the number of pieces that constitute it may be greater or lesser. Inside the module that forms the base or floor, or under it, the corresponding drainage means of the sanitary appliances will be mounted, so that the drain pipes that will be flexible will be fixed by thermal welding to the siphon canister or with a suitable glue, all mounted in a workshop with control suitable and ready to install in the bathroom on site, also incorporating a hose or pipe connecting the WC to the general network of fecal building.

As for the modules that constitute the side walls, it should be said that each of them is constituted from a reticulated wooden frame, with its hollows filled with insulating material and the surface provided with a paper with double vapor barrier, fixed to the floor frame and to each other with spiral nails or screws. On both sides of the commented wooden frame, two gypsum boards are fixed, one intended to be painted or to receive another type of finish, while the other board incorporates a tile tiling, or a melamine coating or other type of interior finishing material.

Water and sanitation pipes, electricity distribution cables will circulate inside the wooden structures.

The aforementioned modules of the walls are held between floor and ceiling, with appropriate means of fixing to the ceiling, such as suitable pivots, to allow easy placement, leveling and verticality thereof.

As for the ceiling, it consists of modules with a wooden frame or frame, equipped with insulation based on glass wool or similar and a double vapor barrier, complemented by a false ceiling based on modules equipped with registration for access to water, light and air extraction installations. The underside of the ceiling modules is covered with plasterboard boards, properly painted and finished, supported or suspended on the wall modules and with a perimeter recessed pit.

The bath described and with the corresponding and appropriate means of draining hot-cold water, electricity and air extraction, supposes a system of construction of modular and prefabricated bathrooms and toilets, which are built in factories under design conditions and adaptable to the greatest number of possible requirements, resulting easily transportable due to modularity, allowing easy handling on site, as well as simple assembly and assembly of all and each of the components.

Finally, say that one of the walls will be equipped with the corresponding hole for the door, which will be factory sealed until the placement of the interior carpentry leads the carpenter to remove the board that seals said hole and replaces it with the corresponding door.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS To complement the description that is going to be carried out below and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, a set of drawings based on which will be more easily understood will be attached to the present specification. the innovations and advantages of the prefabricated modular bath made according to the object of the invention.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT In view of the aforementioned figures, it can be seen how the bass room made according to the object of the invention comprises a base or floor module 1, Side wall modules 2 and roof module 3, all prefabricated so that the different parts or components that make up the modules can be easily transported, easy to handle and can be mounted on site without any problem.

As for the base or floor module 1, it is constituted from a reticular wooden frame 4 whose grid is filled with an insulating material such as fiberglass, while its surface or faces include a double barrier paper steam. That lower frame 4, which may be constituted by two or more parts conveniently assembled with each other, includes adjustable legs 5 to allow proper leveling on the support surface. On the upper surface of the mentioned wooden frame 4 a board 6 is fixed as a support for the corresponding flooring 7 of the bathroom, this being able to be constituted in stoneware, marble or other type of ceramics, that flooring 7 being glued and conveniently fixed on the board of support 6 forming an assembly that can be determined by four parts or components, which facilitate its handling and transport, as well as its assembly, without ruling out that the number of elements or components that constitute that support panel assembly could be greater or lesser 6 and pavement 7.

Said floor module 1 is complemented by the corresponding drainage means of the sanitary appliances, as well as a siphon canister, hose or connection pipe to the WC, etc., all conveniently assembled at the factory.

On the assembly block 8 of the commented floor module 1, panels 11 of the front of the bathtub, composed of a wooden frame, water-repellent board and tiling, are in turn arranged. As for the modules of the side walls 2, in each case is constituted from a reticular wooden frame 12 whose reticles 13 are filled with an insulating material, such as glass wool, all in such a way that on the surface of that wooden frame 12 plates are fixed by screwing of waterproof gypsum board 14 on which they are fixed by gluing or any other similar system tiling tiles 15, or an appropriate finishing coating, while externally to the mentioned wooden racks 12, plasterboard boards 16 are fixed or similar material, with a moderately finished surface, or ready for plaster or painted.

In one of the modules of the side walls 2, a gap 17 conveniently closed by means of a panel 18 is provided, which is dismantled on site so that the carpenter can mount the corresponding door in that hole 17.

Said modules of the side walls are complemented with pivots 19 provided in the upper part for fixing to the roof structure 20, so that those pivots 19 achieve a correct leveling and verticality of the modules corresponding to those side walls.

The bathroom constituted by the aforementioned floor module 1 and the side wall modules 2, will be complemented by the corresponding ceiling module 3 that includes a false ceiling based on modules 3 'conveniently fixed, by means of plates 21, to the boards interiors 14 on which the pavement 15 is fixed, showing in the detail of figure 3 that assembly and fixing of the modules 3 'on the upper edge of the mentioned boards 14.

It should be said that the roof module. 3 is also constituted from a wooden frame divided into modules 3 ', to allow easy handling and assembly, including one or more modules 3' practicable accesses 22 to access media water facilities, electricity and installation of air, looking at the top of Figure 2 ^to a distribution box electricity 23, a block of water collectors 24 and an exhaust fan 25, where the racks or wooden frame of the commented roof module 3 also includes the corresponding insulation of glass or rock wool and double vapor barrier, the bottom of the modules 3 'counting with a panel or covering board properly painted and finished .

As it has been said throughout this description, the different modules go with all their accessories and components duly assembled at the factory to be easily transported and to carry out a simple assembly or coupling on site, so that factory manufacturing or workshop, as well as the previous execution of drills, fixing of elements, etc., reduce the time of execution in the construction of the bathroom, ensuring the quality of flooring and tiling, and allowing a short and simple work assembly, with the logical impact on duration of work, personnel accidents, general costs, etc., assuming a simplification and efficiency in the construction of bathrooms.

Claims

1.- PREFABRICATED MODULAR BATH, whose construction is determined by a base or floor, side walls and a roof, characterized in that both the base or floor (1), as the side walls (2) and the roof (3), are determined by prefabricated modules, the base or floor module (1) being constituted from a reticular wooden frame (4) that incorporates the corresponding drainage means, as well as adjustable support legs (5), presenting on its face upper a support board (6) that incorporates the floor or floor (7), while each of the wall modules (2) are constituted from a reticular wooden frame (12), on whose faces they are fixed separately gypsum boards (14) and (16), one of them (16) suitable for receiving a surface and external layer of finish, and another (14) for the application of an interior coating finish determining a tiling (15); having provided that the roof module (3) is constituted from a wooden frame of several modules (3 ') whose bottom face is covered with a plasterboard or board with its corresponding finish, said module being ceiling (3) supported or suspended through elements, such as plates (21), of the internal side panels (14) corresponding to the wall modules (2); with the particularity that both the modules (2) of the said side walls and the roof modules (3), incorporate appropriate means of water conduction, electricity distribution and air extraction.

2.- PREFABRICATED MODULAR BATH, according to claim 1, characterized in that the reticular wooden frames corresponding to the floor module (1), side walls

(2) and roof (3), have their reticles (13) occupied by an insulating material, such as glass wool and its surface with a paper with double vapor barrier.

3.- PREFABRICATED MODULAR BATH, according to previous claims, characterized in that the modules (2) corresponding to the side walls have their gypsum boards (14) and (16) screwed to the wooden frames (12).

4.- PREFABRICATED MODULAR BATH, according to previous claims, characterized in that the finishing or tiling coating (15) corresponding to the modules of the side walls (2), is constituted by glued tile, or by laminate or vinyl, determining in each case an inner coating surface.

5.- PREFABRICATED MODULAR BATH, according to previous claims, characterized in that the means of water conduction, electrical distribution and air extraction, are constituted by ducts or pipes mounted at the factory inside the wooden frames corresponding to the modules side walls (2) and roof (3).

6. PREFABRICATED MODULAR BATH, according to previous claims, characterized in that the wooden frames (12) of the side walls (2) incorporate upper means (19) for fixing to the ceiling, preferably constituted by pivots.

7.- PREFABRICATED MODULAR BATH, according to claims

1 and 2, characterized in that the corresponding floor (7) of the floor module (1) consists of stoneware, marble or other types of ceramic material, fixed in each case by gluing to the support board (6).

8.- PREFABRICATED MODULAR BATH, according to claims

1, 2 and 1, characterized in that the wooden frame (4) of the floor module (1) is constituted by one, two or more pieces assembled on site, while the support board (6) for the floor (7) , is preferably modulated in four pieces that can be coupled together.

9.- PREFABRICATED MODULAR BATH, according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the pipes corresponding to the drainage system, of the module or modules of the floor (1), are factory connected to the corresponding siphonic boat by welding or other fixing means, incorporating said floor module (1) a hose or pipe connecting the toilet to the general conduction of fecal.
