Abstract

La présente invention concerne un lecteur de disque dur qui entre en mode basse consommation pour réduire la consommation d'énergie. Pour assurer la communication avec un dispositif hôte, une interface de communication continue à recevoir l'énergie avec une partie de circuit stockant des données de configuration pour l'interface de communication. Pour envoyer l'énergie à l'interface de communication et à la partie de circuit, des régulateurs de tension à faible énergie fournissent des tensions de référence convenables. Un régulateur de tension à basse consommation est dédié à cet usage. Un autre régulateur de tension est transformé d'un mode de commutation actif en un mode linéaire à faible consommation pour fournir la tension de référence nécessaire. De même, des signaux d'échange uniques servent à commander l'entrée et la sortie du mode faible énergie par le lecteur de disque dur.
