Abstract

A cartooning method including the steps of: feeding blanks B from a single magazine 18 through a single blank feeder 17 in a first direction; forming an array of at least two blanks from the fed blanks and thereafter transporting the array for forming, loading and closing via respective robot kinetics 22, 30, 31 , 36, 37, 38 of at least two axis motion. Carton blanks B and cartons 10 travel through a path. Robots 30, 31 , 36, 37 below the path transport the cartons. Robots 22, 38 above the path facilitate carton forming, loading and closing. Methods and apparatus are disclosed.
