Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft rekombinante Mikroorganismen, die für die Herstellung von 2-Methylzitronensäure geeignet sind, sowie Verfahren zur Herstellung von 2-Methylzitronensäure unter Verwendung dieser Mikroorganismen. Gegenstand der Erfindung sind insbesondere Mikroorganismen, die für die biotechnologische Herstellung von 2-Methylzitronensäure in Fermentationsverfahren geeignet sind, sowie Fermentationsverfahren zur Herstellung von 2-Methylzitronensäure die unter Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen Mikroorganismus durchgeführt werden.
