Description

DEVICE FOR REMOVING MASCARA FROM EYELASHES
The present invention relates to a device for removing mascara from eyelashes. More specifically, the invention concerns a device permitting an easy and efficient removal of mascara from eyelashes without damaging the same eyelashes.
At present, mascara is a product widely used in the cosmetic sector. It is well known that good quality mascara must be easily applied on eyelashes, must last for a long time, e.g. it must not become dry within the tube, must be resistant to humidity, to temperature variations and to tears.
Modern mascara are realised by chemical substances able obtaining the above-mentioned results. However, in order to remove these chemical substances it is necessary using very strong solvents, so called substances for removing mascara.
Usually cloth or cotton pieces are used In order to apply said solvents, on which said substance for removing mascara is applied. It has been observed that the above mentioned for removing mascara have different drawbacks. In fact, mascara removal is often not perfect, mainly at the basis of eyelashes, thus creating presence of dry mascara granules that can accidentally finish on eyes. Further, it often exists risk that removal of mascara is not perfect and mascara remains along eyelashes while drying, thus making it imperfect the subsequent application of new mascara.
Finally, often there is the risk that substance for removing mascara contacts an eye, thus generating reddening and burning sensation.
In view of the above, it is object of the present invention that of suggesting a device able permitting an optimum removal of mascara from eyelashes, thus avoiding contact of chemical substances with the eye.
It is therefore specific object of the present invention a device for removal of mascara from eyelashes, comprising a support rod, and mascara removal means comprising a plurality of holed disks on one end of said support rod, ^said disks being overlapped each other and fixed to said support rod.
Always according to the invention, said disks can be comprised of compressed cotton. Still according to the invention, said disks can be saturated with substance for removing mascara.
Furthermore, according to the invention, said disks can be tapered with respect to the edge, so as to permit removal of mascara accumulated at the base of eyelashes.
Advantageously according to the invention, said rod can have an S shaped curvilinear shape, so as to have an ergonomic effect.
Preferably, according to the invention, said device can comprise a cap, coupled at the end of said rod in correspondence of which said disks are provided, said cap maintaining said disks fixed.
Always according to the invention, said device can be disposable.
The present invention will be now described, for illustrative but not limitative purposes, according to its preferred embodiments, with particular reference to the figures of the enclosed drawings, wherein: figure 1 shows a lateral view of a device for removal of mascara from eyelashes according to the present invention; figure 2 shows a top section view of a disk for removal of mascara of device according to figure 1 ; and figure 3 shows a top section view of the closure cap of device according to claim 1.
Making reference to figure 1 , it is observed a device 1 for removal of mascara from eyelashes.
Device 1 comprises a rod 3, on one end of which a plurality of disks 2 are inserted and fixed, said disks 2 being juxtaposed each other with respect to the symmetry axis.
Disks 2 are preferably comprised of compressed cotton, saturated with substance for removing mascara.
A cap 4 is coupled at. the top of rod 3, suitable to fix disks 2 in correspondence of the rod 3 end, thus maintaining them juxtaposed.
Removal of mascara by device 1 occurs making said disks 2 passing through the eyelashes. Thus, lateral surface 2' of disks 2 permits removal of mascara from eyelashes, while perimeter edge 2" permits removal of mascara accumulated at the base of said eyelashes. Rod 3 has an "S" shaped curvilinear shape so as to be ergonomical and to obtain a better applicability of disks 2 on eyelashes. Figure 2 shows a section view taken along plane B-B of a disk 2. It is particularly observed the central hole 5, through which it is possible introduce said disks 2 over rod 3.
Finally, figure 3 shows a section view taken along plane A-A of cap 4 for fixing disks 2 and that can be coupled at the top of said rod 3.
The present invention has been described for illustrative but not limitative purposes, according to its preferred embodiments, but it is to be understood that modifications and/or changes can be introduced by those skilled in the art without departing from the relevant scope as defined in the enclosed claims.
