[16] Hereinbelow, the preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in greater detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[17] FIGS. 1 and 2 are perspective views of the cosmetics container according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.
[18] In the present embodiment, a compact having an accommodating part 30 for accommodating oil papers 40 is illustrated as an example of the cosmetics container. More particularly, the cosmetics container according to the present invention is comprised of a body 10 for containing cosmetics, a lid 20 assembled with the body 10, and an accommodating part 30 disposed between the body 10 and the lid 20, which is prepared for accommodating the oil papers 40.
[19] The body 10 is formed to have a shape of a planar and rectangular container. The body 10 is formed with a containing space 17 for containing solid type powder(not shown).
[20] The lid 20 is disposed on the body 10 and opens/closes the body 10. The lid 20 is formed to have a a planar and rectangular shape to conform with the shape of the body 10, and the rear end thereof is assembled with the rear end of the body 10 by hinges so as to pivot with respect to the body 10. A hook 21 is formed at the front end which is the opposite end of the rear end on which the hinge is prepared, which constitutes a locking device together with the hook 11 formed on the body 10. Accordingly, the body 10 and the lid 20 is assembled with each other by the locking device when the lid 20 is closed, and the lid 20 is closed as the user releases the locking device with his finger and then pivots the lid 20 upward. Meanwhile, a mirror 23 used for makeup is attached to the inner surface of the lid 20.
[21] The accommodating part 30 forms an accommodating space for accommodating the oil papers 40. The accommodating part 30 is disposed between the body 10 and lid 20, and is formed to have a rectangular shape smaller than the body 10 and the lid 20.
[22] The accommodating part 30 is hingedly assembled with the left end area at the upper side of the body 10. That is, assembly rings 15 are formed on the left end of the upper side of the body 10, and assembly protrusions 35 (shown in FIGS. 3 and 4) inserted into the assembly rings 15 are formed at the left end of the accommodating part 30. The accommodating part 30 is assembled with the body 10 while being capable of pivoting by the assembly of the assembly rings 15 and the assembly protrusions 35. In such a situation, The assembly rings 15 of the body 10 are preferably formed on the edge neighboring on the edge that the hinges between the body 10 and the lid 20 is formed. For example, if the body and the lid are assembled by the hinges at the rear end thereof as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the accommodating part is preferably hinged at the left edge or the right edge of the body. Then, the user can use a sponge for makeup with the powder contained in the containing space 17 of the body 10 while seeing the mirror 23 installed on the lid 20 without any hindrance of the accommodating part 30 in such a state that the accommodating part 30 pivots as shown in FIG. 2.
[23] FIGS. 3 and 4 show exploded state and assembled state of the accommodating part
30 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, and FIGS. 5 and 6 are sectional views of FIG. 4 along the line I-I and the line II-II .
[24] As shown in the figures, the accommodating part 30 is comprised of a first member
31 and the second member 37 which are assembled with each other. The accommodating part 30 is manufactured with plastic, and preferably transparent plastic so that the user can recognize the oil papers 40 in the accommodating part 30 with his/ her eyes.
[25] The first member 31 has a shape of a rectangular tray to form the accommodating space for accommodating the oil papers 40. The assembly protrusions 35 assembled with the assembly rings 15 of the body 10 are formed on the left side of the first member 31 as described above.
[26] The second member 37 is manufactured to have a shape of a rectangular plate, and is assembled with the upper side of the first member 31. On the upper side of the first member 31, a recess 32 is formed over the three edges (excluding the front edge of four upper side edges) of the first member 31 in a stepwise manner, and the second member 37 is loaded on the recess 32, whereby the first member 31 is covered by the second member 37 while forming the accommodating space on the first member 31.
[27] The second member 37 and the first member 31 are adhered to each other by adhesive or any other method such as ultrasonic welding.
[28] Meanwhile, the second member 37 is shorter than the first member 31. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, an open area 37a is formed at the front end area of the first member 31 so that the accommodating space can communicate with the outside space. Accordingly, the user can insert the oil papers 40 into the accommodating part 30 or draw the oil papers 40 from the accommodating space through the open area 37a while the first member 31 and the second member 37 are assembled with each other as shown in FIG. 4. FIGS. 5 and 6 show the state that the oil papers 40 are accommodated in the accommodating space.
[29] Meanwhile, the open area 37a has a cut area 37b which has a shape that the plate of the second member 37 is cut away to a semicircle shape. The cut area 37b is formed to have a shape of a finger so that the user can touch the oil paper 40 accommodated in the accommodating space with his/her finger. Accordingly, the user can insert the oil paper 40 into the accommodating space through the open area 37a having a stripe shape, and can draw the oil paper 40 by touching the oil paper 40 exposed outside through the cut area 37b of the open area 37a with his/her finger.
[30] Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 6, the first member 31 has a curved surface 31a at the area that the open area 37a is formed. The curved surface 31a connects the lower surface and the front edge of the first member 31. Therefore, when the user touches and draws the oil paper 40 through the open area 37a, the oil paper 40 can slide smoothly along the curved surface 31 to be drawn outside.
[31] According to the present invention, the user can possess the oil papers 40 only by possessing the cosmetics container such as a compact. Therefore, the oil paper 40 can be used conveniently in removing the sebum on the face whenever the compact is used. Furthermore, the user can recognize the consumption of the oil paper 40 while using the compact, so the user can refill the oil paper 40 into the accommodating space of the accommodating part 30.
[32] FIG. 7 shows the accommodating part 30 employed in the cosmetics container according to another embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 8 is a sectional view of FIG. 7 along the line III- III of FIG. 7. In the present embodiment, the parts same with those of the above embodiment will be referred to with the same reference numerals, and the detailed description thereof will be omitted. [33] In the present embodiment, the first member 31 and the second member 37 of the accommodating part 30 are assembled not steadfastly but detachably. That is, the first member 31 is formed to have a similar shape of the first member 31 in the above embodiment, however, grooves 32a are formed on the inner surface of the side edges of the first member 31 instead of the recess 32 in the above embodiment. Both of the side edges of the second member 37 are inserted into the grooves 32a and the second member 37 slides along the grooves 32a, by which the first member 31 and the second member 37 are assembled with each other. Meanwhile, the second member 37 is formed to have a shape identical to the second member 37 in the above embodiment.
[34] According to the present embodiment, the additional process for assembling the second member 37 with the first member 31 such as spreading of adhesive or welding is not required.
[35] Further, according to the present embodiment, the user can disassemble the second member 37 from the first member 31 by sliding the first member 31, and then reassemble the second member 37 with the first member 31 after refilling the oil papers 40 into the accommodating space. Accordingly, the locking means for maintaining the assembled state between the first member 31 and the second member 37 can be implemented simply.
[36] Meanwhile, the above embodiment of the present invention can be modified in a diverse manner as follows.
[37] The accommodating part 30 is hingedly assembled with the body 10 in the above embodiments, however, the accommodating part can be hinged not with the body 10 but with the lid 20. Furthermore, the accommodating part 30 can be manufactured as a separate part. In such a situation, a space for disposing the accommodating part 30 has to be prepared between the body 10 and the lid 20, and the accommodating part is disposed between the body 10 and the lid 20.
[38] Furthermore, the present invention has been illustrated with the embodiment that the body 10 and the lid 20 are hinged with each other, however, the present invention can be employed to any other kinds of cosmetics container, for example, the cosmetics container that the body 10 and the lid 20 are not connected with each other by the hinge but assembled detachably.
[39] Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the accommodating part 30, the body 10 and the lid 20 are manufactured to have rectangular shape, however, they can be manufactured to diverse shapes such as a circular shape or ellipse shape. Moreover, the body 10 and the accommodating part 30 can have shapes different from each other in such a manner that the body 10 has a rectangular shape and the accommodating part 30 has a circular shape.
[40] Meanwhile, in the above embodiments, the accommodating part 30 consists of two members and they are assembled steadfastly or assembled by sliding, however, the accommodating part 30 can be formed by a single member or can be assembled not in a sliding manner but in any other kinds of inserting manner.
