Accordingly, it is a well-known fact that women endeavor to express their aesthetic sensibilities with their hairstyles.
[3] A hair curling iron that is one of the beauty tools is divided into upper and lower portions, in which a curling portion with a semicircular cross-section including a heater means, a heat generating means and a curling tool is provided, respectively. The upper and lower curling portions are opened centering on a hinge of one side thereof. A heating pad for generating heat by electricity is mounted in each of the upper and lower curling portions. Moreover, the surface layers of the respective heating pads have various winding shapes such as a round cross-sectional shape, a triangle cross- sectional shape, etc. so as to create various hairstyles by the heat generated while the hair passes through the upper and lower curling portions in accordance with the various winding shapes. With such a hair curling iron, it is possible for women to express their individual characters and aesthetic interests as described above.
[4] However, such a conventional hair curling iron has a problem in that it requires a large storage volume and it does not utilize the storage space efficiently when it is not used, since the upper and lower curling portions thereof maintain opened centering on the hinge by elastic force of a spring provided therein at all times.
[5] In order to solve such an inconvenience, various kinds of hair curling irons have been developed and used. Of them, a hair curling iron was proposed in Korean Patent Application No. 2005-0020881 filed on March 14, 2005 and entitled "A HAIR TOOL HAVING AN APPARATUS FOR LOCKING." The above hair curling iron was developed aiming at maintaining upper and lower covers closed when it is not used, thus facilitating the storage and minimizing the volume during transportation of the product.
[6] However, the conventional hair curling irons including the above related art are configured to have various winding shapes on the surface layers of the heating pads provided on the upper and lower curling portions to create various hairstyles by the heat generated when the hair passes through the upper and lower curling portions in accordance with the various winding shapes. Here, only with the various winding shapes provided on the surface layers, it is difficult to create various hairstyles in effect.
[7] Moreover, although it is possible to express a simple hairstyle, it still has a problem in that the thus created hairstyle may not be maintained continuously.
[8] Furthermore, since the heat pads of the conventional hair curling irons are not attached and detached, it has a further problem in that, if one of the upper and lower curling portions would be damaged, the whole hair curling iron would be no longer used.

[79] Of course, a heater 500 may be included inside the rotating roller 50.
[80] Reference numeral 6 denotes a heater fixing plate, numeral 7 denotes a roller shaft, and numeral H denotes hair.
[81] Hereinafter, the operation of the present invention will be described.
[82] First, the top cover 13 is placed in the upper cover 1, and the bottom cover 25 is received in the lower cover 2. The top cover 13 and the upper cover 1 positioned on the top portion of the lower cover 2 are connected to the hinge portion 3 to be moved. The upper cover 1 and the top cover 13 are not moved up and down by the hinge portion 3 with the action of a locking knob N.
[83] The above rotating means is a well-known technique and, according to the present invention, if the roller stopper 40 is inserted between the guide pieces 410 formed on both sides of the middle upper portion of the first roller fixing portion 41, the first hooking piece 401 formed on the upper end of the roller stopper 40 is connected to the hooking projection 411 formed on the upper end of the first hooking hole 412, and the second piece 402 is connected to the second hooking hole 413, thus connecting the roller stopper 40 to the first roller fixing portion 41.
[84] Subsequently, the one side of the rotating roller 50 is rotatably connected to the roller insertion groove 415 provided in the middle portion, to which the stopper spring 414 is connected. [85] Then, the connecting plate 600 of the fixing portion cover 60 is connected to the second roller fixing portion 70. That is, the guide projections 601 provided on both sides of the connecting plate 600 are slidably connected along the guide rail 702 arranged inside the cut-off surface 701 formed in front of the second roller fixing portion 70 and, then, the cut-off portion 700 of the second roller fixing portion 70 connected to the fixing portion cover 60 is connected to the other side of the rotating roller 50.
[86] Next, the fixing protrusion 605 of the fixing portion cover 60 is connected to the fixing groove 703 provided on the lower end of the fixing member 704 of the second roller fixing portion 70. The roller terminals 80 are connected to the slits 705 formed on the outer circumference of the fixing member 704, the body terminals 90 are connected to the roller terminals 80, and the terminal springs 100 are connected to the rear of the body terminals 90, thus completing the roller fixing means 4.
[87] Then, if the connecting piece 400 formed on the upper end of the roller stopper 40 is connected to the connecting projection 10 of the upper cover 1, the roller fixing means 4 is connected to the upper cover 1.
[88] After supplying electric power to the hair curling iron in the above state, the locking knob N is released and the pressing portion 14 is pressed to move the upper cover 1 upward. Then, after inserting the hair of the user between the rotating roller 50 and the heating plate 21 provided inclined in the receiving portion 20 of the lower cover 2, the upper cover 1 is moved to come in contact with the lower cover 2. In this state, if the hair of the user is compressed using an appropriate pressure, the rotating roller 50 is rotated to create various hairstyles by a variety of shapes of the rotating roller 50 such as a circle, quadrangle, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, etc.
[89] If the user wants the replacement of the rotating roller 50, the user may press the front of the roller stopper 40 to compress the stopper spring 414 and thereby the connecting piece 400 formed on the roller stopper 40 is separated from the connecting projection 10 bent in front of the upper cover 1, thus the roller fixing means 4 is separated from the upper cover 1.
[90] In order to connect the roller fixing means 4 thereto, after inserting a rotating roller
50 that the user desires to use into the first roller fixing portion 41 and the second roller fixing portion 70, the user may press the roller stopper 40 to compress the stopper spring 414 and releases the pressing force at a position where the connecting projection 10 of the upper cover 1 and the connecting piece 400 of the roller stopper 40 are met to connect the connecting piece 400 and the roller stopper 40 with each other, thus firmly connecting the roller fixing means 4 to the upper cover 1.
