Abstract
L'invention concerne un générateur de chlore qui comporte une conduite d'eau principale le reliant à une piscine et une conduite d'eau auxiliaire reliant deux points sur la conduite d'eau principale. Une soupape d'alimentation, un réservoir à saumure et un réservoir électrolytique sont situés sur la conduite d'eau auxiliaire. Le sel est ajouté dans le réservoir à saumure et dissous dans l'eau tirée de la conduite d'eau principale, et la solution saline à concentration élevée est pompée à partir du réservoir à saumure dans le réservoir électrolytique où le chlore est généré à partir de la solution saline. La solution chlorée tirée du réservoir électrolytique est alors mélangée à l'eau dans la conduite d'eau principale. Un dispositif agitateur est monté au fond du réservoir à saumure pour y brasser l'eau de façon à faciliter la production d'une solution saline à concentration élevée. Le sel est électrolysé sans être dissous directement dans la piscine, ce qui réduit les effets nocifs sur les nageurs.
