Abstract

A bicycle seat with the mechanism for its side tilting around front end axis, located in its body (1), consisting from the yoke (2) which pipe (21) has a tilt seat on the axis (12) and which holder (22) serves for the fixation to the seat pillar (3).

Description

Description
Bicycle seat
Technical Field
[0001] The invention concerns the bicycle seat in swing arrangement on seat pillar. Background Art
[0002] Until today there are all construction of bicycle seat constructed such way, that in its bottom part it is a firmly placed holder. By this holder it is the seat fixed in the seat mechanism, taking into account that the joint allows the inclination of front part of the seat upwards or downwards and its fixation in the mechanism joint into the most comfortable position for the cyclist. Taking into account, that bicycle seat is one from three places where has the cyclist's body the direct contact with the bicycle, seating part of the cyclist has to endure on this small place not only body's weight, but also consequences of bumpiness and other influences, transmitted to the cyclist by bicycle frame. Because of that is the construction of seats focused on sophisticated elaboration of their forms and the use of most suitable materials for the fabrication of surface touch area. In spite of that has the seat fixed anchoring in seat pillar a special drawback that it hinders the movement and it causes to cyclist mild, but as well as significantly painful pressures in seat part of his/her body. Disclosure of Invention
[0003] Mentioned drawbacks are eliminated in a substantial range by bicycle seat, located on seat pillar, according to this invention which essence is in the location of the mechanism for side tilting around front-end axis in its bottom part.
[0004] The mechanism consists from at least two sleeves, firmly embedded in a seat body and to those sleeves is the axis inserted.
[0005] On the axis is located the yoke in a swing position, taking into account that from the outer side of the pipe is fixed the holder for the fixation to the seat pillar.
[0006] A bicycle with a cyclist are composing a physic body in a balanced labile position. In order to keep the balance, the centre of gravity must to lie exactly over the connecting line of front and end wheel touch points with the ground. If the cyclist is bearing down the right pedal, the centre of gravity will be shifted to the right and the cyclist must incline the bicycle to the left and vice versa. Because of that it is more movable by a more suitable way, side swing arrangement of the seat which is able to adjust to actual conditions, it can be sufficiently large and comfortable, it does not press, it does not hinders the movement, the ride with it is even faster, the cyclist is able to cope with more difficult transmission and the ride with the use of this seat is incomparably more comfortable. Brief Description of the Drawings
[0007] The invention is explicated in details in enclosed drawing, where:
[0008] Fig. 1 represents a side view to the seat assembly,
[0009] Fig. 2 represents a rear view to seat assembly with tilted seat. Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0010] A bicycle seat (Fig. 1) consists from Body 1, which has in bottom part a recess of the location of the tilting mechanism. On the edges of the recess there are firmly embedded in the body 1 two sleeves ϋ with an axis 12, fixed by a locknut 13 on the sleeve VL The yoke 2 consists from pipe 21 with a firmly fitted holder 22. The yoke 2 is connected to the body 1 by a swing connection by the axis 12, inserted in its pipe 2L The yoke 2 is connected to the seat pillar 3 by the bolt 32, inserted through the termination of the seat pillar 3, seat 3_1, holder 22 and it is fixed by the nut 33_.
[0011] When the cyclists applies the force on left pedal its centre of the gravity will be shifted to the left, the cyclist will tilt the bicycle to the right and now the body 1 (represented on the Fig. 2) will deflect with the help of the axis 12 by the angle J3 around front-end axis f, taking into account that seat pillar 3 as well as yoke 2 is staying without tilting from the main axis of the bicycle. When the cyclist applies the force on the right pedal, its centre of gravity will be shifted to the right, the cyclist will tilt the bicycle to the left and now is the body 1 tilted to the opposite direction to the right. When the cyclist dismounts from the bicycle the body 1 will balance by its own weight in horizontal position because the centre of gravity of the body 1 is located under the front - end axis f.
[0012] A bicycle seat, constructed this way is suitable for use in different bicycle construction for road and mountain biking.
