Abstract

Eine Hochleistungsbatterie, deren elektrochemische Zellen (10,11, ...) in einer regelmäßigen Anordnung parallel mit Zwischenraum (35) aufgestellte Zylinder sind, soll möglichst wirksam und gleichmäßig gekühlt werden. Dazu ist eine Hülle (15) vorgesehen, die aus einem Schlauch (16) besteht, der um eine Anzahl Zellen (10,11, ...) der Batterie gewickelt ist, wobei der Schlauch (16) mit jeder Windung (20, 21, 22, ..) eine Zelle nach der anderen zumindest teilweise umschlingt. Beispielsweise umschlingt der die Hülle bildende Schlauch (16) eine Zelle (10) in einem Halbkreis (31) aussen und eine benachbarte Zelle (11) in einem Halbkreis (32) innen.
