Abstract

L'invention porte sur une longueur isolée de conduite comprenant une longueur de conduite et un revêtement souple dans un matériau isolant qui entoure la conduite sur sa longueur. Le revêtement isolant souple comprend une mousse syntactique et un ruban adaptable à la longueur renfermant un élastomère extrudé relativement étroit enroulé en spirale autour de la longueur de la conduite et encastré dans la mousse syntactique, l'élastomère extrudé comprenant une charge gélatineuse. La majeure partie du revêtement isolant est composée d'une mousse syntactique dont on augmente la souplesse en enroulant en spirale autour de la conduite (p.ex., de manière hélicoïdale) un ruban adaptable relativement étroit.
