Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en rørkonstruksjon (10) innbefattende en lengde av et fleksibelt rør forbundet med en endekobling, hvilket fleksible rør innbefatter et armeringslag (11; 19) og et underliggende rørlag (12;11) til hvilket armeringslag det underliggende rørlaget har en ytre overflate rundt hvilke armeringstråder (111;191) til et armeringslag er spiralviklet. Hensikten med foreliggende oppfinnelse er å tilveiebringe en kobling mellom et fleksibelt rør innbefattende armeringstråder og en endekobling. Problemet blir løst ved at overgangsbanen til armeringstråden mellom det fleksible røret og endekoblingen innbefatter en rettlinjet seksjon (194) mellom et tråd-rør utløpspunkt (195) hvor tråden strekker seg bort fra sitt underliggende rørlag og et rettlinjet endepunkt (196) på en støtteenhet (15) til endekoblingen hvor den angjeldende armeringstråden har et første tangenspunkt med kontakt. Dette har den fordelen at i en belastet situasjon hvor armeringstråden vil strekke seg elastisk og føre til en endring av spiralvinkelen til armeringstrådene, vil en rørkonstruksjon i henhold til oppfinnelsen erfare en liten vridning og en kontrollert bøying av armeringstrådene på overflaten av støtteenheten (på grunn av en mulig endring av basispunktet for armeringstrådens kontakt med støtteenheten indusert ved endringen av spiralvinkelen), og derved unngå en kraftig bøying av de individuelle armeringstrådene, noe som er av spesiell betydning når armeringstrådene er fremstilt av et komposittmateriale. Oppfinnelsen kan brukes i fleksible rør for offshore transport av fluider (for eksempel olje).
