Alternatively, the control unit 20 determines a search range (which information fields are to be searched) depending on the types of characters present in the character string, and searches the determined search range for entries that include the character string, or that include information related to the character string.
  • the entries that include information related to the character string may indicate entries that include syllables having an input initial sound (consonant) when, for example, only the initial consonant of a first syllable or only the initial consonant of each syllable in the Korean Alphabet is input.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de traitement de l'information. Selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention, le procédé consiste à sélectionner dans une pluralité de zones d'information au moins une zone d'information permettant d'enregistrer des caractères présents dans une chaîne d'entrée spécifiée pour l'exécution d'une opération de recherche se rapportant à un numéro de téléphone. Le procédé consiste ensuite à rechercher dans la zone d'information sélectionnée au moins une rubrique se rapportant à la chaîne de caractères, puis à afficher au moins une rubrique trouvée. Selon un mode de réalisation, les caractères peuvent être classés en chiffres, lettres de l'alphabet anglais, et lettres de l'alphabet coréen, selon la plage des valeurs d'un code caractères converti. En outre, selon un mode de réalisation, on peut déterminer une séquence de recherche en fonction des types de caractères. Cela permet à l'utilisateur de rechercher rapidement l'information désirée en un minimum de manipulations.
