Description
DESCRIPTION
COMBINED GAMES BOARD AND BOX
This utility model refers to a combined games board and box for storing games, which is made of plastic and consists of two sets of two distinct parts referred to as half boards and side flaps which join to form a single item by means of a snap-fit system designed so that when two half boards and two side flaps are fitted together they form a board for games which are entertaining or educational in nature. Similarly, when the two half boards are fitted together, they form a box for storing games accessories and components as well as the two side flaps,
The snap-fit process for the parts which make up this utility model is of the male-female type which when placed into the correct position allows pins to be fitted into their respective slots and vice-versa, and due to their shape and layout, together with the material used in the design, allow complete fitting and locking, fixing the two side flaps to the two half boards so as to form a single integrated item to act as a games board,
The process for fitting the two half-boards to each other is of the top and bottom type which when placed into the correct position allows pins to be fitted into their respective slots and vice-versa, and due to their shape and layout, together with the configuration of the edges of the two half boards, allow the said two half boards to fit together to form a hermetically sealed box in which the respective games accessories and components can be stored,
The inner and outer faces of the parts which make up this utility model have flat and smooth surfaces which allow the attaching of printed graphics relating to the games they represent ,
There follows a detailed description, which is merely illustrational, of how to assemble this utility model which is depicted in the attached drawings. The figures represent;
Figure 1 shows a general view of the inner face of the half boards, with three edges ( 01 ) ( 02 ) ( 03 ) , two pins (04) 05), four slots (06) (07) (08) (09) , three openings ( 10 ) ( 11 ) ( 12 ) , and one notch with fixing tag (13).
Figure 2 shows a front view of the side flap with three openings (14) (15) (16) , two slots (17)(18), two pins (19)(20), and two fitting adaptations (21) (22),
Figure 3 shows a general view of a complete games board, consisting of two half boards and two side flaps, joined together to form a single piece,
Figure 4 shows a general view of a duly closed games box consisting of two half boards joined together, As can be seen in figure 3, the two half boards are joined together on the side which has no edge. The two side flaps are then fitted which attach and lock together the two half boards, forming a single integrated item to act as a games board, As can be seen in figure 4, the two half boards are fitted together through their edges, forming a single integrated item to act as a games box for storing accessories.
