Abstract

La présente invention concerne un mélange de polysaccharides antimicrobien dérivé de mousse ou de tourbe qui est essentiellement dépourvu de résidu acide 5-céto-D-mannuronique et, par exemple, peut être obtenu par le fractionnement des polysaccharides libérés par le clivage de polysaccharide de la mousse ou de la tourbe dérivée de mousse et contient au moins 20 % en mole de Rha, au moins 35 % en mole de Ga1A3, moins de 4,5 % en mole de Man et moins de 9,5 % en mole de Gal.
