  • Alkylene polyols of the present invention are preferably C 2 -C 10 polyhydric alcohols, more preferably C 2 -C 6 alkylene glycols.
  • Some examples of the polyhydric alcohols of the present invention include ethylene glycol, glycerol and hexylene glycol .
  • fragrance for the purpose of this invention, means a mixture of odoriferous components, optionally mixed with a suitable solvent diluent or carrier, which is employed to impart a desired odor.

  • Nonaqueous organic solvents include short chain Ci-C 6 alcohols, Ci-C 4 alkylene carbonates and short chain C 2 -C 8 alkyl ethers.
  • Co-conditioners can be optionally used together with the cationic conditioning actives of the present invention. When employed, they are typically present from 0.1 to 20% and particularly from 0.5 to 10%, based on the total weight of the composition.

  • Cetyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (hereinafter referred to as C16-TAC) , available under trade name CTAC 30 KC having 30 % purity, Stearyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (hereinafter referred to as C18- TAC) , available under trade name STAC 80 KC having 80 % purity, and Behenyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (hereinafter referred to as C22-TAC) , available under trade name BTAC 80 KC, having 80 % purity were procured from KCL, Korea: Ethylene glycol was procured from Manali Petrochemicals, India. Fatty alcohol ethoxylate was procured from Cognis, (Trade name is Dehydol -100) . Fragrance was procured from Givaudan Roure .

Abstract

Composition d'assouplissant textile transparent ou translucide comprenant : (a) 0,1-30 % en poids d'un ingrédient actif assouplissant textile de type ammonium quaternaire de formule RR1R2R3N+X-, dans laquelle R est un groupe alkyle ayant 16 à 22 atomes de carbone, R1, R2 et R3 sont des groupes alkyle ayant 1 à 4 atomes de carbone et X est un anion sélectionné parmi le chlorure, le bromure, l'acétate, le sulfate, le nitrate et le phosphate ; (b) 0,1-15 % en poids d'un hydrotrope sélectionné parmi des éthoxylates d'alcools gras et des polyalkylèneglycols ou des mélanges de ceux-ci ; 0,001-10 % en poids de parfum ; et (c) 45-99 % en poids d'eau, caractérisée en ce que les solvants non aqueux dont les alcools en C1-C6 à chaîne courte, les carbonates d'alkylène en C1-C4 et les éthers d'alkyle en C2-C8 à chaîne courte sont à des niveaux qui ne sont pas supérieurs à 10 % en poids de la composition.
