Abstract

The monitoring and controlling system of endemic diseases has a vector capturing device (1 ) for capturing vectors (e.g. mosquitoes), where an evaluation standard method (2) is utilized for the captured vectors. A standardized/ codified reports system (3) provides reports about the capture of vectors. The standardized and codified reports (4) are adapted to various ways of transmission at a distance. A data input system (6), complementary information sources (7A) and a software and database (8) are introduced to emit alarms and to output reports, as well as to forward alarms and reports by using telecommunication systems to concerning places and social spots for advising public health attitudes. The vector capturing device (1 ) is a trap to capture mosquitoes with ovipositional synthetic attractant consisting of an upper cup (11 ), a lower cup (12), a funnel with an exclusionary screen (13), positioning rings (14), a cylinder with an adhesive card (15), a level control hole (16) and an upper opening (17). The lower cup (12) contains a support (19) for the attractant (18).
