Definitions
- the present invention concerns a stabilizer device to stabilize, with respect to the ground or road surface, a heavy work vehicle, such as for example a truck on which a concrete mixer is mounted, a pump for concrete or other equipment for the building trade.
- a heavy work vehicle such as for example a truck on which a concrete mixer is mounted, a pump for concrete or other equipment for the building trade.
- the stabilizer device according to the present invention comprises a plurality of stabilizer arms pivoted to the frame of the truck, and able to selectively rotate on a substantially horizontal plane to be disposed radially, so as to ensure the stability of the vehicle during its operating steps.
- Heavy work vehicles are known, used in the building trade, normally consisting of a truck or lorry on which one or more pieces of building equipment are installed, such as for example pumpmixers, concrete pumps or others. It is also known that the truck comprises a stabilizer device consisting of four stabilizer arms, each of which is pivoted around an axis of rotation substantially vertical to respective lateral elements, upper and lower, of the frame of the truck, so as to be able to be selectively rotated on a substantially horizontal plane between an inactive position and a working position.
- each stabilizer arm is of the telescopic type and is hollow inside, so as to house inside it, along a median longitudinal axis, a respective actuator member in order to extend it.
- the axis of rotation and the median longitudinal axis of each individual arm intersect at a point inside the bulk of the arm.
- two cylindrical pivoting pins are provided, mounted rotatable on opposite sides on the relative arm and coaxial with the axis of rotation of the latter.
- Each of the two pins is kept correctly positioned with respect to the frame and the relative arm by means of specific auxiliary pivoting elements, such as bushings, plates, brasses, flanges or other, which also have the function of guaranteeing an optimum rotation of the pins with respect to the lateral elements, upper and lower, of the frame of the truck, and allow the correct distribution of the active components of reaction forces which develop on every pin due to the operations of the equipment.
- a first disadvantage of the known solution is the high number of auxiliary elements that must be provided for each arm; this disadvantage causes an increase in the times and costs of production, assembly and maintenance.
- Another disadvantage of the known solution is that to allow the two pins to support the expected forces, they must have parts which are structurally oversized, even if only partly.
- Purpose of the present invention is to achieve a stabilizer device for a heavy work vehicle which not only guarantees the necessary stable positioning of the heavy vehicle during the operating steps of its equipment, but also allows to reduce the times and costs of production, and the overall structural bulk.
- the Applicant has devised, tested and embodied the present invention to overcome the shortcomings of the state of the art and to obtain these and other purposes and advantages.
- a stabilizer device for a heavy work vehicle comprises a plurality of stabilizer arms each pivoted around its substantially vertical axis of rotation, on a supporting frame of the heavy work vehicle.
- each stabilizer arm is of the telescopic type so that it is able to be positioned between a packed position in which it occupies minimum bulk in length, and an extended position in which it occupies maximum bulk in length.
- the device according to the present invention also comprises a telescopic actuator disposed coaxial with a median longitudinal axis of the stabilizer arm, to determine the passage of the latter between its packed position and its extended position.
- each stabilizer arm has its axis of rotation distanced by a determinate distance "D", for example comprised between about 150 mm and about 400 mm, from its median longitudinal axis, and is pivoted on the frame by means of a single pivoting element, such as for example a through pin, disposed coaxial with the respective axis of rotation.
- D determinate distance
- This advantage allows to reduce the number of auxiliary pivoting elements provided, substantially halving the times and costs of production, assembly and maintenance of each stabilizer arm.
- each stabilizer arm by pivoting each stabilizer arm around a single pivoting element we obtain a better distribution of the load forces that develop in the operating steps of the heavy vehicle, and it is thus possible to reduce the thickness and bulk of the supporting frame and consequently the overall bulk of the heavy vehicle.
- the telescopic actuator is fixed on one side to the inside of the relative stabilizer arm in correspondence with one end of the latter.
- the axis of rotation of the stabilizer arm is also comprised between the end to which the telescopic actuator is fixed and a center line zone of the stabilizer arm in its packed position.
- the distribution of forces on the pivoting elements is further optimized, also with regard to the thrust made by the telescopic actuator to move the stabilizer arm between its packed position and its extended position.
- - fig. 1 is a lateral view of a heavy work vehicle on which the stabilizer device according to the present invention is installed;
- - fig. 2 is a view from above of the stabilizer device in fig. 1;
- - fig. 3 is a lateral view of an enlarged detail, partly sectioned, of the stabilizer device in fig. 1;
- - fig. 4 is a front view of fig. 3.
- a stabilizer device 10 according to the present invention is shown, able to stabilize with respect to the ground, or the road surface, a heavy work vehicle 11, in this case provided with a placing boom 12 for casting concrete during the construction of buildings.
- the heavy vehicle 11 also comprises a truck 13 mobile on wheels 14 and provided with a driver's cabin 15, and a supporting frame 16, on which the placing boom 12 is mounted.
- the stabilizer device 10 comprises four stabilizer arms, respectively two front 17, telescopic, and two rear 19, normally extended, all tubular in shape and pivoted around their own substantially vertical axis of rotation X (fig.
- the two front arms 17, telescopic comprise a plurality of elements 18 (figs. 3 and 4) disposed coaxial with a median longitudinal axis Y of the relative front arm 17 and reciprocally sliding, to be positioned between a packed position (figs. 1 and 2), in which they are one inside the other and occupy minimum bulk, and an extended position (fig. 3), in which they are disposed one after the other and occupy maximum possible bulk.
- the axis of rotation X and the median longitudinal axis Y of each front arm 17 are distanced from each other by a distance D comprised between about 150 mm and about 400 mm.
- the movement between the packed position and the extended position is effected by means of a telescopic actuator 24, of a substantially known type, disposed substantially coaxial with the median longitudinal axis Y and fixed to one end of the first element 18 by means of a pin 34.
- the axis of rotation X of the front arm 17 is comprised between the end to which the telescopic actuator 24 is fixed by means of the pin 34, and the center line of the first element 18 of the front arm 17.
- the telescopic actuator 24 has a plurality of segments of rod 38, each of which is mechanically connected to a corresponding one of the elements 18 of the stabilizer arm 17, so that each of the elements 18 is moved individually and not drawn by the others , so as to reduce the risk of blockages.
- figs. 2 and 3 show the pivoting system of the two front arms 17 of the telescopic type, but it is understood that the system can refer equally to the two rear arms 19 too.
- an oil- dynamic actuator 20 is associated, which allows it to rotate on a substantially horizontal plane, between an inactive position, in which it is disposed inside the bulk of the frame 16, and a working position, in which it protrudes laterally from the frame 16 and contacts the ground with its supporting feet 21, to partly lift the wheels 14 and stabilize the position of the heavy vehicle 11.
- the front arm 17 is pivoted with its first element 18 to the frame 16 by means of a single pin 25, disposed through the first element 18 and coaxial with the axis of rotation X of the relative front arm 17.
- the single pin 25 is constrained at the ends to the frame
- threaded clamping means may be provided instead of the attachment plate 30, or other means able to keep the relative single pins 25 constrained to the frame 16.
