Examples of controls extended would include enforced time based access to the shared resource, permissions associated with usage and / or distribution of the resource etc.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant de facilement partager un contenu numérique de dispositifs utilisateur pouvant utiliser des identificateurs universels, uniques, abstraits et persistants, tels que l'identité universelle basée sur XRI pour l'adressage de l'émetteur et des récepteurs en vue du partage du contenu numérique via un réseau de communication et de l'obtention d'une commande à granularité fine de l'accès, la confidentialité, l'usage, l'expiration, la conformité et la synchronisation du contenu numérique. On utilise cette identité universelle et persistante à base standard pour contrôler l'accès, la confidentialité, l'usage, l'expiration, la conformité et la synchronisation du contenu numérique. L'invention concerne également le stockage du contenu numérique dans un dispositif de stockage réseau pour le partage et l'archivage des données.
