Definitions
- the present invention relates to user roaming technology in a wireless network, and more particularly to a method and system for adjusting a roaming area. Background technique
- the network side needs to be able to flexibly adjust the range of the user's subscription roaming area for these situations, so that the roaming area of the user can be enlarged; After the segment, the user's roaming area can be restored to the original range to flexibly adapt to the user's mobility requirements and improve user satisfaction.
- the user data is generally adjusted by adjusting user data, that is, by searching for the user data of the roaming area range adjustment in the home location register (HLR, Home Location Register) on the network side, and then searching for The user data is adjusted to the range of the roaming area. Therefore, when the number of users who need to adjust the range of the roaming area is large, the adjustment workload will be very cumbersome, which reduces the implementability;
- the user data is implemented to increase the range of the contracted roaming areas of these users, which may cause the roaming areas of these users to be inconsistent, so that if the roaming area of these users is restored to the original range again, it may result in There is no basis for adjustment.
- the adjustment process will be confusing, which will make the recovery adjustment of the user roamable area range risky and reduce its implementability.
- the user data in the HLR is dynamic, and it is possible to either place a number or a number at any time, so that the implementation of adjusting user data is even smaller.
- the technical problem to be solved by the embodiments of the present invention is to provide a method for adjusting the range of a roaming area and a system thereof, so as to flexibly implement the adjustment of the roaming area of the user in the wireless network, improve the implementability thereof, and simplify the implementation process thereof. .
- a method for adjusting a range of a roaming area includes the following steps: performing location area division on a wireless network, and assigning a corresponding location area identifier to each location area; establishing a mapping relationship between each location area identifier and a allowed roaming cell group; And adjusting the roaming area range of the user in the location area indicated by the corresponding location area identifier by adjusting the cell information in the allowed roaming cell group in the mapping relationship.
- An adjustment system for a roaming area comprising: a location area dividing unit, configured to perform location area division on a wireless network, and assign a corresponding location area identifier to each location area; a mapping relationship establishing unit, configured to establish the location a mapping between the location area identifier of each location area and the allowed roaming cell group by the area dividing unit; the adjusting unit, configured to adjust, in the mapping of the mapping relationship established by the mapping relationship establishing unit, the roaming cell group
- the cell information is used to adjust the roaming area range of the user in the location area indicated by the corresponding location area identifier.
- the location area is divided by the wireless network, and the corresponding location area identifier is assigned to each location area, and the mapping relationship between each location area identifier and the allowed roaming cell group is established, and the permission in the mapping relationship is adjusted.
- the cell information in the roaming cell group is used to control the adjustment process of the roaming area range for all users in the location area indicated by the corresponding location area identifier. Therefore, the range of the roaming area of the user can be flexibly adjusted in the wireless network, and the implementation of adjusting the user roaming area by adjusting the user data in the prior art is avoided, and the implementation is poor when multiple users are simultaneously roamed.
- the adjustment process is too cumbersome, so that all users who sign in each location area can simultaneously adjust the roaming area, and the adjustment process is easy, and the adjustment area can be large or small.
- the minimum adjustment can be made to ensure that the user has the most basic basic roaming cell, and the maximum can be adjusted to multiple wireless local network ranges. It is also possible to change the range of the user's roaming area.

- Step 10 Perform location area division on the wireless network, and assign a corresponding location area identifier (L-ID, Location ID) to each of the divided location areas; where the location area identifier corresponding to the location area that each user subscribes to L-ID can be saved in the user's home location In the HLR;
- L-ID Location ID
- Step 20 Establish a mapping relationship between each location area identifier L-ID and the allowed roaming cell group; wherein each cell in the roaming cell group is allowed to be identified by using a cell identification code (CELL ID), such that each location area

- the method for adjusting the range of the roaming area of the user can be implemented in the contracting All users in the location area can adjust the range of their roaming area at the same time.
- the roaming area can be adjusted to be larger or smaller, and the roaming area can be changed.
- the range can be adjusted to multiple wireless local networks, and the range can be adjusted. Go to a basic roaming cell to ensure the minimum roaming area of the user; and the roaming area range adjustment mode belongs to the adjustment of the system data, thereby avoiding the process of adjusting the roaming area in the prior art.
- the implementation is relatively strong, and at the same time, it can improve or even solve the problem that the boundary signal of the roaming area is not good due to the limitation of the roaming area, and the service quality of the communication process is low when the wireless service cannot be performed or the wireless service is performed.
- the main processing procedure for the network to provide wireless services for roaming users is as follows:
- the location area identifier LJD corresponding to the location area to which the user is contracted is stored in the HLR on the network side; and the corresponding allowed roaming area is configured for each L_ID according to the L_ID corresponding to the location area under its jurisdiction in the MSC on the network side. Group information, and store the mapping relationship between each L-ID and the allowed roaming cell group.
- the MSC on the network side first obtains the L-ID of the user in its own HLR, and then obtains the information of each cell in the allowed roaming cell group corresponding to its jurisdictional user according to the obtained L-ID; when the user initiates a call or is called, The network side MSC determines, according to the cell information currently activated by the user, whether the currently activated cell information of the user and the obtained cell information in the allowed roaming cell group. There is overlap, if not, the network side rejects the user's current call or is called; otherwise, the network side processes the user's current call or is called.
- the HLR In order to enable the MSC/VLR to obtain the L-ID of the user in its jurisdiction in the HLR, the HLR must send the location area identifier L_ID corresponding to the location area in which the saved user is subscribed to the network side that governs the user.
- the MSC/VLR can send the L_ID stored in the HLR to the MSC/VLR in three ways, as shown in Figure 2, respectively:

- the MSC / VLR that governs the user obtains the LJD corresponding to the user subscription location area carried by the HLR from the qualification request response message (qualreq);
- the HLR needs to send a qualification indication message (QUALDIR) to the MSC/VLR that administers the user, and the message carries the L-ID corresponding to the subscription location area updated by the user.
- the MSC/VLR obtains the L-ID corresponding to the user subscription location area carried by the received QUALDIR message.

Description

器 HLR中;
步骤 20, 建立起每个位置区域标识 L一 ID和允许漫游小区组之间的映 射关系; 其中允许漫游小区组中的各个小区使用小区识别码 (CELL ID ) 来标识, 这样, 每个位置区域标识 L— ID和允许漫游小区组之间的映射关 系即可以表示为每个位置区域标识 L_ID和允许漫游小区组内各个小区识 别码 CELL ID之间的映射关系; 其中每个位置区域标识 L— ID和允许漫游 小区组内各个小区识别码 CELL ID之间的映射关系可以存储在移动交换 中心 ( MSC, Mobile Switch Center ) 中;
步驟 30, 通过调整上述建立起的映射关系中的允许漫游小区组中的小区 信息, 来调整签约在对应位置区域标识表示的位置区域中的所有用户的漫游 区域范围;
a、用户向网络侧的 MSC/VLR发起位置登记(REGNOT ), 管辖该用户的 MSC/VLR从 HLR返回的位置登记响应消息(regnot )中获取其携带的该用户 签约位置区域对应的 L— ID;
b、 网络侧的 MSC/VLR发起资格请求 (QUALREQ ), 管辖该用户的 MSC/VLR从 HLR返回的资格请求响应消息(qualreq ) 中获取其携带的该用 户签约位置区域对应的 LJD;
步骤 200、 用户通过当前所在区域的基站控制器(BSC )向管辖该用户的 MSC/VLR发送请求呼叫服务(CM Service Request ) 消息(属于一种发起呼 叫请求消息), 其中该消息中可携带有用户当前激活的小区信息;
步骤 201、 MSC/VLR判断接收到的 CM Service Request消息中携带的用 户当前激活的小区中的小区识别码是否与自身根据用户在 HLR 中存储的 LJD, 从本地预先建立的映射关系中索引到的对应允许漫游小区组中包含的 小区识别码存在重叠, 如果是, 执行步骤 202; 否则, 执行步骤 206;
(Assignment
Complete ), 该消息表示此时空口信道与 A接口信道都已经建立成功, 其中该 消息中可携带有用户当前激活的小区信息;
步骤 204、MSC/VLR判断接收到的 Assignment Complete消息中携带的用 户当前激活的小区中的小区识别码是否与自身根据用户在 HLR 中存储的 L— ID, 从本地预先建立的映射关系中索引到的对应允许漫游小区組中包含的 小区识别码存在重叠, 如果是, 执行步骤 205; 否则, 执行步骤 206;
步骤 205、 MSC/VLR通过在上述小区识别码发生重叠的小区内对该用户 发起的呼叫按照规范过程进行处理;
步骤 300、 用户接收到被呼叫消息, 通过当前区域所属的 BSC向管辖该 用户的 MSC/VLR发送寻呼响应 (Paging Response ), 属于一种被呼叫请求消 息, 该消息中携带该用户当前激活的小区信息;
步骤 301、 MSC/VLR判断该 Paging Response消息中携带的用户当前激活 的小区中的小区识别码是否与自身根据用户在 HLR中存储的 L— ID, 从本地 预先建立的映射关系中索引到的对应允许漫游小区組中包含的小区识别码存 在重叠, 如果是, 执行步驟 302; 否则, 执行步骤 306;
步骤 302、 MSC VLR通过 BSC给用户建立从网络侧到该用户的被呼叫连 接;
步骤 303、 该用户通过 BSC向 MSC/VLR发送进行被呼叫处理过程的请 求( Assignment Complete ),该 Assignment Complete消息中携带有用户当前激 活的小区信息;
本地预先建立的映射关系中索引到的对应允许漫游小区组中包含的小区识别 码存在重叠, 如果是, 执行步驟 305; 否则, 执行步骤 306;
步骤 305、 MSC/VLR通过在上述小区识别码发生重叠的小区内对该用户 按照规范过程进行被呼叫处理;
步骤 400、 用户发生基于 BSC的切换处理后, 通过当前所在区域的 BSC 向管辖该用户的 MSC/VLR发送切换执行请求消息 (Handoff Performed ), 该 消息属于一种切换请求消息, 其中携带有用户切换目标的小区信息;
步骤 401、 MSC/VLR判断该 Handoff Performed消息中携带的用户切换目 标小区中的小区识别码是否与自身根据用户在 HLR中存储的 L— ID, 从本地 预先建立的映射关系中索引到的对应允许漫游小区组中包含的小区识别码存 在重叠, 如果是, 执行步驟 402; 否则, 执行步骤 403;
步骤 402、 MSC/VLR通过在上述小区识别码发生重叠的小区内对该用户 按照规范过程继续进行发起呼叫或者被呼叫处理;
步驟 500、用户通过当前所在区域所属的 BSC向管辖该用户的 MSC/VLR 发送 ADDS Transfer消息,该 ADDS Transfer消息中携带该用户当前激活的小 区信息;
步骤 501、 MSC/VLR判断该 ADDS Transfer消息中携带的用户当前激活 的小区中的小区识别码是否与自身根据用户在 HLR中存储的 L— ID, 从本地 预先建立的映射关系中索引到的对应允许漫游小区组中包含的小区识别码存 在重叠, 如果是, 执行步驟 502; 否则, 执行步骤 503;
步骤 502、 MSC/VLR通过在上述小区识别码发生重叠的小区内对该用户 按照规范流程发送短消息;
步骤 600、 用户接收到短消息通知消息, 通过当前区域所属的 BSC向管 辖该用户的 MSC/VLR发送收到短消息通知消息的响应 (Paging Response ), 该 Paging Response消息中携带有用户当前激活的小区信息;
步驟 601、 MSC/VLR判断该 Paging Response消息中携带的用户当前激活 的小区中的小区识别码是否与自身根据用户在 HLR中存储的 L— ID, 从本地 预先建立的映射关系中索引到的对应允许漫游小区组中包含的小区识别码存 在重叠, 如果是, 执行步骤 602; 否则, 执行步骤 606;
步骤 602、 MSC/VLR通过 BSC给用户建立从网络侧到该用户的接收短消 息连接;
步骤 603、 该用户通过 BSC向 MSC/VLR发送进行接收短消息处理过程 的请求( Assignment Complete ), 该请求消息属于一种接收短消息请求, 其中 携带有用户当前激活的小区信息;
步骤 604、 MSC/VLR判断该 Assignment Complete消息中携带用户当前激 活的小区中的小区识别码是否与自身根据用户在 HLR中存储的 LJD, 从本 地预先建立的映射关系中索引到的对应允许漫游小区组中包含的小区识别码 存在重叠, 如果是, 执行步骤 605; 否则, 执行步骤 606;
步骤 605、 MSC/VLR通过在上述小区识别码发生重叠的小区内对该用户 按照规范流程进行接收短消息处理;
映射关系建立单元 200,主要用于建立上述位置区域划分单元 100划分出 的每个位置区域的位置区域标识和允许漫游小区组之间的映射关系; 其中可 以将建立的这个映射关系存储在网络侧的 MSC中;
