  • the fan unit 54 may be activated by printing conductive ink traces (not shown) on the tubular structure 32 of the expelling package 30 and on the fan unit 54 such that, as the expelling package 30 is compressed, the conductive ink printed on the tubular structure 32 contacts the conductive ink printed on the fan unit 54 and completes a circuit. As shown in FIG. 11, the activated fan unit 54 forces air through or past the scent emitter 58 and through the apertures 46 to release the scent of the scent emitter 58.

  • the expelling package is not configured as a complete package, but as a partial package.
  • the partial expelling package slips over or otherwise mates with a portion of a primary package of a product.
  • a partial expelling package can be configured to sit on the shoulders of a traditional pump bottle that contains a scented product.
  • the expelling package 10 does not entirely surround or enclose the primary package or the product, but partially surrounds the primary package or product.
