Abstract

The invention provides a method for reducing the phytotoxicity of herbicides on paddy rice after transplantation of rice plant seedlings to a paddy field, which method comprises, before said transplantation, applying one or more N-substituted 3,4-dichloro-isothiazole-5-carboxamide derivatives to the rice plant seedlings.
