Abstract

Die Vorrichtung dient zum optischen Bestimmen von physiologischen Variablen in perfundiertem Gewebe. Die Vorrichtung weist eine erste und eine zweite Lichtquelle auf, welche jeweils Lichtstrahlung einer ersten bzw. einer zweiten vorbestimmbaren Wellenlänge aussenden. Die Lichtquellen sind derart angeordnet, daß die von ihnen ausgehende Lichtstrahlung in das perfundierte Gewebe eindringen kann. Es ist mindestens ein Fotodetektor verwendet, der so angeordnet ist, daß er das von den Lichtquellen ausgesandte und durch das perfundierte Gewebe hindurchtretende bzw. rückgestreute Licht detektiert. Die Vorrichtung weist weiterhin eine Steuereinheit auf, die Steuersignale derart an die Lichtquellen liefert, daß die Lichtquellen fortwährend einander abwechselnd Licht aussenden, wobei in diesen Ablauf eine oder mehrere Dunkelphasen eingefügt sein können, in welchen zumindest eine Lichtquelle kein Licht aussendet. Eine Auswerteeinrichtung ist mit einem Ausgang des Fotodetektors verbunden und liefert für mindestens eine zu messende physiologische Variable ein anzeigbares Ausgangs Signal an eine mit der Auswerteeinrichtung verbindbare Schnittstelle.
