Abstract
A clothing reinforcement, especially made of metal or hardened plastic, arranged along the perimeter of the human body. The reinforcement has the shape of the letter C opened in the front part of the clothing, for insertion into the clothing in the area of the breast, waist or loin and for reinforcement of the left and right part of the clothing. The side parts of the reinforcement are foldable.
Description
Clothing reinforcement
Technical Field
The invention relates to a reinforcement of clothing designed for use in the sphere of ready-made and custom-made clothes to keep the form of the upper, middle or lower part of clothes, mainly shirts, tops, blouses, bras, etc.
Background Art
Upper parts of clothing, in particular light clothes, shirts, tops, blouses with a modern design are worn unbuttoned down to the lower part or are only buttoned below the breast. Due to movements of the person or wind the unbuttoned parts get opened. Reinforcement of this part of clothing that would prevent this phenomenon is not used or spontaneous opening of the two parts of this part of clothing is prevented by buttoning of the left and right part.
Disclosure of Invention
The principle of the invention comprises reinforcing the part of clothing with a reinforcement having the shape of the letter C. The reinforcement can be made of a metallic wire with a round cross-section or of a flat strip or possibly of hardened plastic with the shape of equal profiles. The reinforcement fits closely around the chest, waste or loin, namely the left and right part. At the front the structure is open. In a beneficial version the ends of the structure at the back are arranged across each other and equipped with a perforated part with the distance of the holes of approx. 5 mm to ensure the possibility of adjusting the structure. The size of the structure is adjusted with this coupling. The structure is further interrupted with a joint allowing you to fold up the side parts during getting dressed and with a spring in the left and right side part. The task of the spring is to shift the pitch of the structure e.g. when the body is bent. The structure is installed in a cloth tunnel in the part of clothing where it should prevent spontaneous opening caused by movements of the person or by wind.
Brief Description of Drawings
In fig. 1 without reference signs there is a geometrical sketch of the structure of the C reinforcement with sides a/ and b/. The volume of the structure is calculated from the proportion of the side. Fig. 2 shows the whole structure in the closed position, connected with adjustable plates 6 that are used to adjust the size of the structure. Fig. 3 presents the structure in the open position with folded up side parts and with the adjustable plates 6 in the back part. Opening is enabled by the joint 4, which turns the structure over the locks 3. The adjustable plates 2 control the length to the fastening stud 1 , which is used to fix the structure to the cloth. The back part of the structure is interrupted with a spring 5 before the side joint 4. The spring 5 enables extension of the structure during a forward bend by 10 to 45 degrees when mainly if the structure is positioned on the chest the perimeter of the body is extended.
Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
The clothing reinforcement based on the invention must be shaped differently for every figure. After measuring of the part of the body for which the clothing reinforcement with the C shape should be designed the whole perimeter part shown in fig. 2 is made of metal or hardened plastic. In the back part it is equipped with adjustable plates 6 that can be perforated so that the perimeter can be changed. In the case of a more fixed, i.e. unchangeable perimeter of the user the plates 6 may be replaced with a "Velcro fastener". At the sides the structure is equipped with locks 3 that lock the side parts in the closed position. The left and right side part is equipped with an adjustable plate 2 and fastener 1 used to fix the reinforcement structure to the cloth in the front part of the clothing. In the side part the reinforcement structure is divided and equipped with a spring 5 that allows the user to bend forward. The spring 5 allows extension and retraction of the reinforcement when the body is bent forward in the angle of 10 to 45 degrees. The structure prepared this way is inserted to the part of the clothing equipped with a
cloth tunnel and with the use of fasteners 1 in the form of studs it is fixed to the front parts of the clothing.
In accordance with fig. 1 the dimensions of the reinforcement structure can be determined from the a : b proportion. If the diameter of circle a is between 17 and 21 cm, then the proportion between side a and b is approx. 1.4 to 1.65. If you multiply this figure by the diameter of the circle, i.e. e.g. 17 cm, then you can determine the perimeter of the structure from 17 cm up to the maximum with the use of the proportion 1.4 to 1..65 and its pitch can be made more precise with plates 6. Such a structure inserted to the part of clothing reinforces its shape against the wind and movements caused by walking of the person. The plates 6 that are perforated in such a way to be moved by approx. 5 mm can be used to adjust the pitch of the C-shaped clothing reinforcement so that its length and width can fit the perimeter and shape of the part of the body. Changes of the perimeter of the part of the body, mainly the chest, are compensated by the spring 5 mainly when the body is bent forward.
Industrial applicability
The technical solution based on the invention can be used in the clothing industry and production of ready-made clothes as e.g. shirts, tops, blouses and bras in such a way that the structure is inserted or sewn into a tunnel around the whole part of the clothing in a position below the breast, on the waist or loins in such a way that the structure can be closed and opened.
