- the garment should be possible to be worn in a convenient and comfortable way.
- the garment should be possible to be realized in many different embodiments, e.g., in the form of sweaters, brassieres, dresses, sleeping wears, overalls, swimsuits, etc.
- At least the primary object is attained by means of the initially defined garment, characterized in that that each of said first and second pieces of the second layer is connected to the first layer, at several connection points, which are distributed around the first and second access opening, respectively, and that said connection points are fixed.
- Preferred embodiments of the present invention are furthermore defined in the dependent claims .
- each of said first and second pieces of the second layer is connected to the first layer, at least at a first connection point, a second connection point as well as a third connection point, which are distributed around the first and second access opening, respectively, and that said first, second and third connection points are fixed.
- the first connection point is located on a level above, and the second connection point as well as the third connection point is located an a level below, the first and second access opening, respectively.
- the circumference of said first and second access openings are variable.
- the present invention is based on the insight that by means of a first layer of cloth giving full support of the breasts as well as access to the nipple, and a second layer of cloth covering/concealing the exposed parts of the breast, i.e. at least the nipples and the areolas, when the breasts are inactive.

- the first layer 2 may comprise sleeves in order to cover the arms of the wearer, and/or a casing extending downwards from the front piece 3 and the back pieces 4, 5 in order to cover the abdominal and lumbar regions of the wearer, and/or a collar.
- the front 3 and back pieces 4, 5 are preferably designed to be tight-fitting, as a conventional brassiere, in order to provide support to the bust of the wearer.
- the front layer 3 may partly be constituted by not stretchy material, such as in the area between the breasts of the wearer.
- the garment 1 is shown from the inside in fig. 4.
- the first layer 2 comprises a first access opening 10 and a second access opening 11, in the shown embodiment said first 10 and second 11 access openings are located in the front piece 3.
- Said first 10 and second 11 access openings are arranged to provide access to the breasts, more precisely to the nipples of the wearer, upon breastfeeding.
- the circumference of the first 10 and second 11 access openings may be variable.
- One way of providing a variable circumference of an access opening is shown in fig 4.
- the first layer 2 located on at least one side of said first 10 and second 11 access openings, respectively, is partly overlapped.
- the front piece 3 is cut open, from each of the first 10 and second 11 access openings to the respective edge of the front piece 3 adjoining the back pieces 4, 5, and thereto the two tongues formed on the outer sides of the access openings are partly overlapped and connected to the respective back piece 4, 5.
- the abovementioned feature also, or instead, may be applied anywhere contiguous to the first 10 and second 11 access openings, e.g. between or above or under the access openings.
- the garment 1 also comprises a second layer generally designated 12.
- Said second layer 12 at least partly covers the first layer 2, and is constituted by at least a first piece 13 and a second piece 14 covering at least the first 10 and second 11 access openings, respectively.
- the first 13 and second 14 pieces of the second layer 12 are preferably generally triangular shaped, but every other appropriate shape is conceivable.
- Each of said first 13 and second piece 14 of the second layer 12, may comprise a breast cup and a tab connected to each other, the tab being located below the breast cup, and thereto the breast cups may be preformed in order to better correspond to the shape of female breasts.
- a wire may be arranged in the connection between each breast cup and the corresponding tab, in order to give a better support for the bust of the wearer.
- Each of said first 13 and second pieces 14 of the second layer 12 is connected to the first layer 2, at least at a first connection point 15, 15' , a second connection point 16, 16' as well as a third connection point 17, 17' , which are distributed around the respective first 10 and second access opening 11.
- said first connection points 15, 15', said second connection points 16, 16', and said third connection points 17, 17' are all fixed. It shall be realized that said first 13 and second pieces 14 of the second layer 12 may be connected to the first layer 2 at more connection points than three. However, all connection points are fixed.
- the first connection points 15, 15' are preferably located on a level above the first 10 and second access opening 12, respectively, or more precisely in the connections between the front piece 3 and each of the shoulder straps 6, 7.
- the second connection points 16, 16' are preferably located on a level below the first 10 and second access opening 12, respectively, or more precisely in the connection between the front piece 3 and each of the back pieces 4, 5.
- the third connection points 17, 17' are preferably located on a level below the first 10 and second access opening 12, respectively, or more precisely in the connection between the front piece 3 and each of the back pieces 4, 5.
- the second 16, 16' and third 17, 17' connection points are preferably located on vertical lines not interesting the first 10 and second access opening 11, respectively.
- the second connection point 16 of the first piece 13 of the second layer 12 is preferably located at the same location as the third connection point 17' of the second piece 14 of the second layer 12, and vice versa. Thereby the first piece 13 and the second piece 14 of the second layer 12 are partly overlapped.
- the second connection point 16 of the first piece 13 of the second layer 12 is located at the same location as the second connection point 16' of the second piece 14 of the second layer 12, i.e. in an area between the first 10 and second 11 access openings.
- the second connection point 16 of the first piece 13 of the second layer 12 is located between the second connection point 16' and the third point 17' of the second piece 14 of the second layer 12, and vice versa.
- Each of said first 13 and second 14 pieces of the second layer 12 may be connected to the first layer 2 along a line between the first connection points 15, 15' , and the corresponding third connection points 17, 17' .
- Said line follows preferably the armpit seams and the side seams 8, 9 of the garment.
- each of said first 13 and second 14 pieces of the second layer 12 may be connected to the first layer 2 along a line between the second connection points 16, 16' , and the corresponding third connection points 17, 17' .
- the latter line follows preferably a horizontal seam of the garment located below the bust of a wearer.
- the first 13 and second 14 pieces of the second layer 12 may be alternately pulled-down and thereby exposing the first 10 and second 11 access openings, respectively, by pulling an edge 18, 18' of the corresponding first 13 and second 14 pieces of the second layer 12 over the corresponding breast of the wearer in order to allow breastfeeding.
- the second layer 12 is elastic in order to get an easier access to the breasts.

- said intermediate layer 19 is connected to the second layer 12 along a part of, or at discrete points of, the circumference of the intermediate layer 19, in such a way that a pocket is form between the second layer 12 and the intermediate layer 19.
- the connection between the intermediate layer 19 and the second layer 12 is illustrated by a broken line 20 in fig. 6.
- a nursing pad 21, absorbent paper, an inlay, or the like, may be put into such a pocket in order to avoid getting the second layer 12 soiled.
- a heat insulting pad may also be put into such a pocket, in order to protect the breasts from getting cold.
- the garment may be modified in all kinds of ways within the scope of the appended claims. It is of course feasible to modify the shaping and fashion-wise design of the garment within limits, which solely are determined by the appended claims.
