Abstract
The present invention relates to razors having a convex razor blade, and more particularly to razors in which by making the center portion of a 'straight line'shaped razor blade fixed to the body of razors convex-shaped so that it can be easy to cut mustache or the hairs sprouted on the skin surface of the interface between a curved portion of chin and a neck of a user, the area where the center portion of the razor blade fixed outwardly to the body of razors is adhered to the curved skin surface can be increased, thereby improving the shaving ability of the razor blade as well as extending the razor blade's life. That is, according to the present invention, in a conventional razors 1 having a razor blade 3 provided outwardly on its body 2 thereof and a handle 4 connected to the body 2, the razors are characterized in that a convex-shaped razor blade 20 is formed at the center portion of the razor blade 3 provided outwardly and a convex member 21 is formed at one side of the body 2 in the same line with the convex razor blade 20.
Description
Description
RAZORS HAVINGA CONVEXRAZORBLADE
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to razors having a convex razor blade, and more particularly to razors in which by making the center portion of a "straight line" shaped razor blade fixed to the body of razors convex-shaped, it can be easy to cut mustache or the hairs (hereinafter referred to as "the hairs") sprouted on the curved skin surface of a user.
[2]
Background Art
[3] In general, razors have been used to shave various types of the hairs and become one of products that are greatly and world-widely increasing in the quantity consumed regardless of sex.
[4] As conventional razors, there have been used an electric-charged razor and a blade- type razor having a razor blade provided outwardly to the body thereof. Such conventional electric-charged razors are provided with a rotational razor blade at the inside of the mesh thereof so as to cut the hairs being inserted into the mesh. However, it has a disadvantage difficult to shave the skin surface and thus there was preferably used a blade-type razor to directly cut the hairs sprouted on the skin surface.
[5] Such conventional blade-type razors, as shown in Figures 5 and 6, comprise a body
2 having a razor blade formed thereon and a handle 4 in which the razor blade 3 and body 2 are positioned in an in-line. The number of razor blade 3 is one or more and the shape thereof is designed to be fixed or separated to/from the inside of the body 2 in parallel with the body 2. Further, the body having a razor blade formed thereon and the handle are made integrally, or designed to be conveniently and exchangeably fixed to the handle.
Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[6] However, when using the conventional razors having a razor blade formed in an inline, the in-line razor blade has a problem difficult to cut a number of the hairs at a time because the blade has a low surface area closed to the hairs sprouted on the curved skin surface of user, and therefore the user should shave at several angles and several times to cut the hairs. Also, the blade has an inconvenient problem that if a user is not proficient in shaving, he may be wounded by the razor blade.
[7] Further, the conventional in-line razor blade has a low surface area closed to the hairs sprouted on the curved skin surface of user when shaving and thus causes a
resisting force against the blade, resulting in a short life of the razor blade. Technical Solution
[8] Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to solve the above problems.
According to the present invention, in order to solve the problem of the conventional razors in cutting the hairs sprouted on the skin surface of the interface between curved portion of chin and neck of a user, the center portion of the razor blade fixed outwardly to the body of razors is convex-shaped so that the area where the razor blade is adhered to the curved skin surface can be increased, thereby improving the shaving ability of the razor blade as well as extending the razor blade's life.
[9] Now, a structure of razors according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Advantageous Effects
[10] Therefore, as described above, the center portion of the razor blade of razors is a convex-shaped and thus the area of the razor blade being adhered to the curved skin surface is increased and at the same time, the surface area of the razor blade adhered to the hairs is increased and thus the cutting ability is improved, thereby extending the razor blade's life. Brief Description of the Drawings
[11] Figure 1 is an exemplary view illustrating a state that the present utility is applied;
[12] Figure 2 is a plan view of the present invention;
[13] Figure 3 is an exemplary view illustrating a state that the present utility is used;
[14] Figure 4 is a view showing the essential part off the present invention.
[15] Figures 5 and 6 are views showing a structure of a conventional razor.
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[16] As the structure of the present utility design for achieving the above object, in conventional razors 1 having a razor blade 3 provided outwardly on its body 2 thereof and a handle 4 connected to the body 2, a convex-shaped razor blade 20 is formed at the center portion of the razor blade 3 provided outwardly and a convex member 21 is formed at one side of the body 2 in the same line with the convex razor blade 20 as shown in Figures 1 and 2.
[17] In case that the number of the razor blade 3 provided on the body 2 is plural, it is also desirable for the blade to be convex-shaped.
[18] According to the present invention having the above structure, as shown in Figure
3, when a user holds the handle 4 of the razors 1 and then adheres the razor blade 20 to the skin surface of the interface between the chin 10 and neck 12 of him in order to cut the hairs 11 sprouted on the skin surface of the interface between curved portion of the chin 10 and neck 12 of him, the adhesion force of the convex razor blade 20 to the
curved skin surface is increased. Further, when the hairs 11 are adhered to the convex razor blade 20, the convex-shaped razor blade 20 and the circular-shaped hairs 11 are adhered to each other and thus the surface area where the convex-shaped razor blade 20 and the hairs 11 are adhered advantageously improved.
[19] Accordingly, the hairs 11 adhered to the razor blade 20 can be easily cut since the cutting ability is improved due to the increased surface area of the convex-shaped razor blade 20 to the hairs 11, and the resist force of the convex razor blade 20 generated against the hairs 11 can be minimized, thereby extending the life of the razor blade 3 of razors 1.
